Don't know wether anyone knows about this tip (and if its in the manual, then sorry!), but i saw a thread about someone having trouble with throws.

When taking a throw in, you know the way the cpu player sticks to you like glue and its annoying as hell? Press L1 and your player will change target. The cpu player will run off to the new player you are about to throw to. Press L1 quickly again and throw to the original (now open) player.

This also works against human opponents on PES3, if they don't see your player switching targets.

It must be done quickly against the cpu, as they soon bring in another player to mark the new target.

My mates still don't know about this trick, and i love annoying them by throwing to open players! mint.

:x: for a normal throw, pass it back to the thrower and you have options - through pass or an early cross ( :L1: + :circle: )

:circle: throw in, head it on with :x: to set up a shot on goal maybe.

:triangle: for a "through throw" into the path of your player.

Not telling your mates about the move is very cheeky! :p
