to mark or not in online games?

I never set up marking in games, I have tried it but it seem to backfire on me. But you play certain teams there are such obvious players that need to be taken out (Adriano, kaka, Ronaldinio etc) I was wondering if it is worth doing?

well you should if it seems nesseccary to the team you are facing, and how does it backfire?

It feels like the player marking is often not available for much else or at other times is left completely at sea.

Do you use it then against the type of players I listed??

Marking does not work when you're defending free kicks, especially short range free kicks. It's half the reason why I don't mark.

The free kick thing is a bug in the game I'm afraid.
