After being massively impressed with the demo, I decided to rent the game from Blockbuster (£5.95 for 7 days) which isn't too bad. To be honest, I'm completely glad I only rented it. The game is alright, but I wouldn't consider it £25+ material. I think the customisation and career mode are pretty good from what I've played so far, but the key words are "so far". I've had it since Tuesday and I haven't really delved into the game much, purely because I haven't felt the addictiveness that a game requires. Visually it is stunning as Red Owl has said above, but in terms of gameplay, it's only okay due to some of the very frustrating points in the game which have already been mentioned.

As for online, I can't really judge but from what I've heard and played it isn't so hot. I was really looking forward to playing a doubles match with a friend online against 2 other people, but it turns out this can only be done if you and your friend are sat at the same Xbox. We then decided to play a singles match instead against one another, and it was going smoothly for most of the time until the 3rd set in. The ball had finished rolling on the floor, but no point was given and we were able to both move around the court while the game had crashed. Not overly impressed with this section to be honest.

Smash Court Tennis 3 is a much better game in almost every aspect except graphics.
Just make sure you run the tutorial first so you understand the game mechanics, apparently most game reviewers haven't done that and is bringing up "problems" that aren't actually a "problem" once you've learned how to hit the different strokes.
