When you have set your tactics for the match go to the training settings and on each tab look for the tick next to the training type, scroll down to the ticked element, click X and choose how much you want to dedicate to this method.

okay so you have an instigator...i assume...,then you assign what you want the players to do when he has the ball like overlap...now when your assigning the team tactics where you allocate points,go to the place with stuff like overlap...the one's with ticks in them apply to your team,fill them from 1 to 3 the more points you assign the better they are at whatever it is you assigned them too.

i did that but when i finished and pressed continue, the game/coach tells me that my training does not match with my tactics. why?

You need to fill in the boxes next to the ticked items.

If you go throught the various items at the top i.e. number of defenders, there will be a tick next to the number of defenders, you have to fill in next to the one thats ticked for all them.
