OK so we all know that there are bad loser out there who just turn off thier ps3's ets when theyre getting theyre asses kicked online (doesnt bother me much because at least you get your ranking points) HOWEVER......" games last night I was leading 4 and 5 nil and around the 70-80 minute mark I got the message "as the transmission has worsened the match must be cancelled". At the sstart of the games both myself and my opponents connections were both fine so he's obviously just disconnected his router!!!!! The downside of this is when "the match must be cancelled" nobody gets any points so it's a complete waste of f*****g time!
So...I thought i'll confirm it. I started a quick match online and played til around just after half time, granted I was winning but I didnt care it was an experiment, low and behold I disconnected my router and the game froze for around 30 secs (rather than just quitting the whole game) and I got that message and no ranking points were gained/lost.
In conclusion I think this was a good idea by Konami but needs to be looked at!
