USB Problem with PS3

When I plug in my USB stick containing the PS3 folder (tried several) and go to Game data utility there is no "display all" option when pressing triangle. When I move away to film or music, then I can see the PS3/... folder containing OF data. Have anybody had similar problems ? Help PLZ ?:erm:

have you tried formating these usbs??

i had the same problem when i formated a usb on a digital camera, it wouldnt be recognised in the ps3...then when i reformated it on a mac, the ps3 found it again..

If the PS can find the files using music etc, then it sounds more like the folders are not correct on the stick rather than a formatting issue.

Assume you have un zipped the files & folders are corrected properly?

yeah sorry fick your right, i didnt read his (1st) post properly... ignore my formatting solution aria/??.

yeah ive had a few mates who havent unzipped it and put it straight in usb lol

I did everything properly. Unrared it on my PC and copied the folder PS3/SAVEDDATA/... on my USB. If i can see in om music, film and Photo than there should be no problem with the file/folders/USB registery... Are you supposed to do the procedures you did on PES2008 for importing OF ?

Usually the problem is the filenames. Just check the path is correct on the USB & all in caps. (Check the spelling on savedata...)

Other than that I'm not sure. Let me know how you go on. If you're still having problems let me know which file you are trying & I'll have a look tonight.

Other than what I've already said above, none.

What file are you using, what format... assuming you can also see the files when looking under music etc?

The more details the more I might be able to assist.

Finally ! I got it to work thanks for your encouragements fick. There is still no possibility to display all on the USB stick using the triangle button, however you can just enter the USB stick by pushing X, then I had to copy every single file, file by file manually, but it worked in the end. A shame though that you can not use the edits when playing online...

Glad to hear you're up & running. A decent OF makes all the difference to the look and feel of the game!

Just out of interest, have you got crowd chants set up? If not, check Von's option file. The epl chants are excellent quality & very esy to set up.

Fick my man ! I got Von´s option file and did put in the chants. I only got around to trying liverpool (Home) against ManU. The liverpool chant/MP3 had 3-4 different chants put into one (dont think: You never walk alone was included, righ?). I also noticed that the first part of the chant/mp3 is played over and over again (I think they sing "You have no history"... or something) the other part of the MP3 was hardly played. Have you noticed anything similar. I also noticed that you can change the pattern of the chants, do you think that it may have an effect on the MP3 file ?

Fick my man ! I got Von´s option file and did put in the chants...

Uploaded Von's myself last night. Not heard the Liverpool chant yet as a costly visit to the Vets put pay to any lengthy trials.

I know the chant's appear faded in and out during the game dependant on the action and seem to start afresh on some dead-ball situations, but other than that I'm not sure.

I had a quick game with Bolton & was very impressed. Seemed to use the full MP3 effectively. I'll hopefully get a bit more time tonight (especially if I can persuade the missus to bugger off upstairs early!) & see what I can find out.

I must be some kind of brainless fool / boffon / villiage idiot as I have tried like a million times to get Von Muffs latest kit up date onto my USB and I'm just going round and round in circles. I can see all the players faces on my screen but when I go to copy them all I get is a message saying about something about teh data for that particular face / kit ( emblem/logo ) already existing and do I want to overwrite the data. I've tried each and every way as suggested but like I said earlier I'm an absolute novice and only bought my first USB for the first time a few days ago .... Do I have to do anything to my USB to make it work e.g. Format it espically for my PS3 as I haven't done that

What do I have to do to the files I think I read some where about capital letters for file names ... what this all about and once down loaded do I need to save it to my desktop first or direct from Winzip to my USB ?????

Like I said I'm a complete idiot and clueless when it comes to stuff like this so please please please can some kind person please put below a very very very easy to understand idiots guide to get the OF onto the USB, so easy that I could understand, as at the moment I'm pulling out all my hair which isn't good as I'm starting to resemble my dad !!!!!!!
