Great news for all of us mac users: The latest release of the OF editor works on OSX. This is how to get it working:

1) Install the latest Java release from here

2) Download PESFan Editor Version 6.0.1 from here

3) Unzip the folder and double-click the .jar file.

That should do it. Enjoy.
