Initially, I was running at turtle speed WE7I at the default resolution however after lowering it to 640x480 it runs fine. The speed looks normal. The weird thing is I could not run PES3 at normal speed even at the lowest resolution. It is extremely slow and I cannot play the game totally. What is even worse, the moment I exit from the game, my computer crashes. I am facing the same problem with WE7i , the computer crashes the moment I quit the game.

Hi guys, something very interesting happened with me. I was using my Athlon 1.4 with 512MB SDRAM, the games was playing well, not perfect but playable... I had the famous lag on corner situations etc...about two months ago I lost one memmory stick (256MB). Just for curiosity I tried to run PES3 with 256mb and guess what??? It was the same thing... the same game speed... usually ther's a lot of dif. between running a game with 256mb and 512mb, It was very very strange... well, I'm now with 512DDR, and with a new HD 80Gb 7200 8 Cache, after installing the game and the newest Nvidia driver the game is flawless... perfect... don't have any idea of who's the responsible for that (HD, new memory, new nvidia driver...). The fact is that 256mb and 512mb doesn't affected the game (at least for me).
I'm posting here cause I saw that you tried to change de res., and the game still slow... I don't know what's wrong with PES and W11 but I think that most of the lag and other stuff are not hardware problems, you can see here at the forum a lot of good PCs with lag problem, and sincerely, this game doesn't have heavy graphics.
Ah, I almost forgot... when I wuit the game I need to wait for a while to go back to windows screen... never crashed but I have to wait a little... (sry for my terrible english) :p

It is really frustrating. JUst when I thought all my problems are over when I was able to play WE7Int at the lowest resolution, there is this Crashing stuff. It always crashes the moment I exit. Yes I agree with you there is nothing to shout about the graphic if you compare it with Fifa. I have absolutely no problem at all in running Fifa 2004. The irony is I just don't like Fifa 2004 and it has rotting in the shelf.

Ah, I can't play Fifa anymore... it's terrible... it's a games with a big beach ball in a indoor soccer field... EA spend some much resource on graphic development that I think they run short of to do the same with gameplay and realism. The 90's series was great, I remember playing my Sega MegaDrive (Genesis), the first Fifa Soccer released was outstanding... I even bought the 4Player gamepad adapter... It was a lot of fun to play with 3 other friends (mates).... ah... good times....
I;'ll not loose my time anymore to see Fifa... I wonder what they're going to do next year, now that konami finally released WE "worldwide"

if you're still having trouble - try changing the monitor refresh rate to 60 or 120hrz - keeping the screen res and detail to whatever worked before - this sorted out the slow down for me...

and if you then get the tearing problem, try putting v-sync 'on' - with these settings i can get to run as smooth at pes3 did (without the awful patches)
