Is the Solidus Enviroment patch the one with Champions League music?

Yes it is mate. I´m using this post also to apologize but I cannot be very active in the forum the next 3-4 weeks coz Im not at home from 7 in the morning till 8 in the evening and I also cannot update the patch thread, so post your links in there if you have some new, but the thread title stays the same "NO DISCUSSIONS OR COMMENTS", only if you have a new link. I will take care of the thread if necessary when I have more time again which wil be probably middle/end October.

I just saw a patch on Evo Web called jonboyo30.08.03. Is this the latest Jonboyo or is the one called "jonboyos latest patch" as seen in Larssons WE7 patch thread the latest? The patches should be dated instead of just called 'Latest' or whatever. I don't mean to complain, it's just that I want the best patch so I don't waste so many CDr's!!

The latest patch should be Jonboyo's 10.09.03 one.

Another silly question from the 'pleaser!! I have been playing a patched version of WE7 (chapman/redhot) and I have managed to buy everything in the WEShop and transfered all players to their correct teams and changed all their names (both in menus and on their strips). If I now do a new WE7 with a better patch will my saved option file still be relevant? If I load the game without a memory card inserted and then insert it once the game is loaded and then load the options file, will all my data overwrite the stuff that the patch had in it? Can I then carry on using this memory card for future games? I really like what I've done so I don't want to lose it all. All I want is the Champions League music and the new add boards etc.

As I said I cannot take care of the thread at least for 4 weeks, of course if I´m on evo-web and I notice a new patch that isn´t linked on our forum I´ll post it in my thread, so post your links for the newest Chapman, Fernando or Jonboyo patch in there, but please just the link with a short explanation, and don´t post links anywhere else.

mumpleaser, I believe that as long as the patchers don't fiddle about with the player IDs in switching people around and they are as they should be in the original version of WE7, then your option file should fix everything for each patch.

But I'm not sure what happens if a new patch includes all the correct flags or club kits.

Works fine with the Jonboyo 10.9. which can be patched over the 7.9., but generally it doesn´t work.

No you can't repatch something.
You always have to start from a clean image.

But you can apply "fix" patches which modify a previously applied patch - usually this is a language patch.

i bought a partly patched we7 that has part english translation, but not master league so i've been trying to apply the new fernando patch to that via the tutorial cdrwin, ppfomatic etc and having no luck at all. I think i'm doing something wrong can someone put me right.

You can only apply a patch to a clean image of a game except in a few cases where it's just a small translation patch added to a main patch.

Apply your patch to a clean (fully Japanese) image of WE7 and it will work.

I have WE7 with the latest Jonboyo and I booted the game without my memory card inserted. I noticed that I hade no WEN and a few transfers and updates I hade made were not evident. I then inserted my memory card and loaded it. I got all my when and updates on the newly patched game with nice looking flags, champions league music and so forth...........in other words, lovely jubbly!!

It's got a 'Coming Very Soon' banner that comes up every time you click on WE7 Patch! Very irritating, but oh so tantilizing!! I for one can't wait for there patch. Can Zygalski put this in Larssons 'WE7 Patch' thread and make it a sticky? Nice........

Another question. I think that the Champions League music is brilliant but just too quiet! I was just wondering if I could raise the volume of this piece of music? How would I go about this? At the moment I'm having to reduce the number of fans so that there isn't as much cheering so I can hear the music. That means that the stands are half empty and I lose a lot of the great atmosphere that WE7 has. Any ideas?

Maybe you can open the CL music in an audio program where you can edit the graphic equaliser settings and save it with the file set to be louder. Not sure - just a suggestion.

In the pre game settings (when you choose stadium etc.) there is a second menu (press R1), there you have the home & away crowd which you can change by changing the number of the stars.
