WE8i crashes to desktop when using a pad?

It's taken me some time to track this down after getting the game today. The game installs fine, but when I run it just crashes. :(

I unplugged my Xbox pad (with USB adaptor) from the computer and now WE8i works fine. I tried plugging the pad in after the game finishes loading, but instantly crashes it.

But without the pad it is not playable (especially 2-player!!!). The pad works fine with other games.

Is their a solution? :unsure:

Have you tried re-installing the drivers for your controller. Check the 'settings' part of WE8 to see if the gane recognises it as well.
