Has anyone listened to the latest podcast from WENB? It talks all about the new game and absolutely hammers many of the mainstream reviews for obviously not playing many of the modes and hardly any of the game before writing their reviews.

I actually think its really good and agree with the guys when they say that Eurogamers review is a joke. Not because of the score, but because of the lack of detail in the review and the blatant fact that the bloke who's written it obviously spent about 5 minutes playing PES 2010 and just went, "No, Fifa's better."

They also talk in depth about the Masters League and say its the best its ever been!! They describe it as "taking over your life"

You should give it a listen. It's made me really excited about getting my copy of PES 2010 tomorrow now

And just before anyone says that WENB are obviously biased, they actually go into great depth to discuss the problems with PES 2010 too.

Yeah I downloaded it a few hours ago. I had a listen and it was good

I agree, the EuroGamer review was a complete joke, they give PES2010 lower ratings because they gave PES2008 and PES2009 high by mistake. Thats bullshit. The rating should be decided by PES2010 and PES2010 only.

Onto Master League, I have heard about it, I have seen screenshots and I have seen videos, now I can't wait to play it!! It sounds and looks great, it will take over my life! Master League had evolved and it's an complete overhaul, this is one of the reasons I can't wait for PES2010. Just a day or two left now

Suff and Adam talk positives and bad points. I agree with everything they say.

I'm getting bored of this site and podcasts and screens and videos. All I want to do now is actually play the game!

yh gave it a good listen before me lecture. great points some exellent detail. Non-biased very valid review and chat , worth the listen. I totaly agree with most of the points made.

And definetly master league is one of the greatest achievments in gaming history .. period !
so much depth to it.

Know exactly what you mean! I think because Konami showed the preview and sneek peeks at PES 2010 so early this year it's made the wait seem even longer!!

I should be getting my copy tomorrow from Shopto so I can finally just play the game and make my own opinion rather than get info and pics from here and there.

Yep not good for us Blades at the moment. Looking forward to creating us, playing Blackpool and getting some revenge! Blades in Europe within 5 years, yep, on Pro they will be!

Just finished listenin. Excellent podcast I agree with pretty much everything they said. As the years roll by I become less and less reliant on game reviews. Mainly cuz most games we can dl a demo these days but also cuz reviews are just crap now.

you said it.. its hard to go on any reviews nowadays... especially when "the big sites" tend to get exclusive reviews for cash or favourable reviews....

the most recent being batman.. although it was an excellent game the best batman game imo... it still got preferential treatment

the sooner people wake up to going by the numbers... the better

I think reviewers are under that much pressure to get reviews out as quickly as possible these days that they rush them as well.

GTAIV was a great game but I don't think it was deserving of the 98% and 100% scores it got. And I very much doubt the reviewers finished the whole game before they scored it.

I think its the same with PES 2010. Masters League is such a huge part of the game and yet many reviewers seem to have skipped it altogether and just said it has minor improvements?

I might stop living in the real world of football and just try and make myself believe that Masters League is real! It would relieve me of a lot of pain

yeah i listened to it and im glad that they say ML will take over your life cause thats my mode what i want to play and if it does last up till a whole year then id be happy.
