Personally i don't complain because i like something. And i don't complain much about pes 2010..

However i think people complain because they set their expectations waaaay to high - all this next gen-talk is making me sick.

i wouldnt say complain but state there dislikes if there was nothing to complain about then there wouldnt be a point of another pes really.

but after watching that video then there wouldnt be anyhing to complain about lol.

Actually, FIFA 97 on SNES was quite shit compared to the PS and PC version, which was actually 3D and looked awesome at the time. It's all about expectations and benchmarks though and these days we have a lot more to compare our sports games to.

I'm not too sure about that. As I said in another thread, I hadn't touched a footy game other than FM for four years before picking up PES 10 and was really surprised to see that graphics aside it hasn't really evolved at all. Seeing how far all other game genres have come in those four years I really don't think expecting better is setting the bar too high. That said, I do enjoy the game as it is - but the rate the series are improving at means I'm probably going to wait another four years before I bother to get another PES game again.

People dont need to moan about major things anymore like modes etc but simple things like nets, gloves, goalkeeper annimations etc are small details that can easily be completed and together would make a perfect gameplay experiance.

However the only insanely good graphics i've seen on ps3 so far is metal gear solid 4 and uncharted 2..

Graphics are actually fine in PES, I'd go as far as to say they're quite impressive in fact. The physics and general game mechanics are quite a bit out of date however.

Yes they're great - But nothing compared to metal gear solid 4 (of course konami spent quite a while making it) As you mention it's the animations that are erh.... different :)

I dont agree with expectations being 'high'. We all loved PES 6, the just took it and seemed to screw it up for a couple of years. Its much better this year but still trying to get over the last 2 years as far as I can see.

I dont think you can make this statement. It's like saying look we've come from cars like LADA's to Mercedes SLK so we shouldn't complain..well if some features of the SLK sucks..I think I have the right to complain to the manufacturer..

This vid brings back memories..but my fav FIFA still is and will be FIFA 98 Road to world cup....Shearer was the SHIT!!!!!!!!...bicicleta's and all of that
