I have never played a competition online. how do they work? what's the structure?

ust want to know what to expect before i enter one.

unless you're trying to get money, the competitions are pretty much the most annoying things in mlo lol

Works as follows bud, there are division cups right up to D2. D1 play in the ML Open which is open to everyone. There's a Champions League as well for competition winners (so I'm told).

Competitions are open to a max of 400 entrants.

If you're a PS3 owner you'll have enter competition lobbies bang on time otherwise you'll not get in. They pack out fast. Xbox isn't so much of an issue.

You get 65 minutes to qualify. 5 minute matches means you'll average about 5 games in that time. To qualify ideally you'll need to win all three games scoring at least a total of 5 goals.

Three 1-0 wins isn't going to be enough.

Your best 3 consecutive results determine whether you qualify. Aim to win 2-0 every game to get through.

The knock out rounds are 5 minutes as well until the final which is 10 minutes.

Nay worries squire. Good luck with the comps! They cost to enter (£100k+ mark depending on the value of your squad) as well so don't blow all your money on signings.
