Basically ive played the demo and love it and apparantly the final version is meant to be much better.
The videos ive seen of it look really really good, gameplay looks great atmosphere looks and sounds great, however i have two main gripes with the game and i know a few of you will have the same issues.
These problems seem even more outrageuous when they are in a game that otherwise looks brilliant.
The first thing is one i know we will just have to settle with for this year but the commentary is shocking its so bad and there are no excuses, same old phrases and anecdotes that make no sense, like that bloody one about the manager coming out last after half term due to a superstition!
my other problem though is with the keeping, in the demo and the videos ive watched it just looks terrible as ever, animations seem limited and they barely move half the time. In this video alone there are numerous examples of keeping problems. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr0_JFkhDOI
its not so much the old problem of parrying shots straight to oppositiont that they should have held but its more them just looking at shots and turning a little bit towards them but not diving or them just sticking out a hand and not even moving their feet. There are not enough animations and the ones they have are completely unrealistic and pathetic.
So this brings me to my question.
With the updates that konami releases after the game has been released is it possible for them to update and improve something like the keepers or is that something thats too deeply written into the scripting to just update?
has there ever been any updates for stuff like that before?
If its a possibility i'd love to get everyone to petition or something for keepers that work, or at least get together for next year!
