what camera angle do u use??

wide/broad (sounds like a description of a rugby player?)
I really would like to get into playing up/down the pitch but it is sooooooo weird. If they had a much higher angle it would be really cool as you actually see where a player is running into and ping a ball there! wow! cool!

yeah we tried vertical angle once or twice. it's really cool as you can see all of your players - but just for one cause - either attack OR defense....when the camera is opposite to your side u can hardly do anything.
Don't u think playing wide, assuming u r playing on a big screen and the players aren't 2 small, is the most realistic? I mean, you should be able to see what's happening 14-15 meters beyond where ur standing? (I use the scanner to see if there's someone open for a quick lob or 2 c if the keeper is out so I can shoot above him, but sometimes that second of looking down to the scanner can cost me the ball).
Anyway, whenever I play the CPU I tend to choose wide, to try and mitigate the CPU's advantage of seeing everything.

On a 28" wide screen...

Default-Long normally, see more of the pitch, where to find team mates.

Occasionally, I switch to Default-Normal. e.g. When playing the ML myself and I want to enjoy the graphics detail more, and play a short passing & dribbling game.

Sometimes Normal-Close in Training when I want to see how the game actually performs a move, especially the little feints that aren't so obvious from a distance.

I play Default Long. I did play on wide for a short while but soon reverted back to the default long.

Depends on the size of the tv. Either default long angle 3 or wide.

I hated the default one. On my tv, it wouldnt show the ball hitting the net! half of the time you didn't know you'd scored.

a good tactic to win a tournament would be to master a 'weird' camera. well, one that people arent used to using.

then, play your half on your camera, get a good lead up, but still be good with the old camera as well, and hold your lead in the second half.

great idea :D

It would be nice if you could pick the colours the radar uses, some of the greys are difficult to pick out on screen quickly.

Indeed it's a good idea. I'm used to playing on Wide and Default Long which seem to be the most popular in all the tournies I've been to. Rarely someone will want to use the Default Intermediate one but those guys..... they do it cos they know no-one uses them. Besides, I want to play football not pinball.
