whats everyones favorite pes on this gen console.

i have brought everyone apart from pes 14. only played the demo

pes 10 was okay but the computer never seem to attack.

pes 11 is so furstating. really feels like your not in control

cant remember pes 12 apart from the awfull manager mode cut scene

I would probably say PES 2012 was the best for me in terms of gameplay, and PES 2013 wasn't far off either.

I've not played PES 2014 enough to make comment yet, but they've changed the game engine and it's full of bugs, so I don't think it'll be taking the crown this year. Even so, I still think it's on the verge of greatness. Maybe in a year or two.

I can't remember most of them tbh, not exactly been a gen to remember for Konami. I do remember being that frustrated with 2011 I didn't even buy 2012. I got FIFA 12 instead, which is the best FIFA ever IMO. Then came 13 and the rot set in, reminds me of how PES 5 was brilliant & PES 6 was really good but it got hell of a lot worse after that, starting to see those signs with FIFA but I don't think they'll let it get as bad as Konami have. I did get PES 2013 and it was fun but off the pitch PES is so dated. Seriously Konami need to revamp Master League (offline). At least you can swap teams on 2014 but there is nothing else.

Sorry to waffle but to answer your question I'm gonna say its a tie between 2014 & 2013. If 2014 didn't have these issues and a more in depth Master League I'd definitely go with it.

sad that we must go back to PS2 to speak about the best PES...Konami never managed to transport the great feel to PS3

for me it is PES5 or PES6 they were both near perfect

PES 6 for me. I can't believe that people have gone for some of the later versions (2013/14), but each to their own.

Certain PES games mean more than others to different people. I still hold a special place in my heart for PES 3 because it was the beginning of my obsession. I also had my best ever master league campaign in PES 2008, although looking back that game was probably one of the worst in the series.

not to get off topic but I think it's funny how ps2 had the best soccer and wrestling game.

Pes 6 and No Mercy... those were so fun.

then comes ps3 and they can't get it right.

hopefully ps4 will be a diffrent story

No Mercy was on the N64 wasn't it? PS2 had Smackdown.

Thing is, you can play PES 6 now and still have fun with it. I wonder if people will say the same about PES 2013/14 five years down the line?

But No Mercy was not on playstation 2 it was not even in ps2 gen! and WWE 2k14 is much superior and here comes the pain for that matter.:no:

PS2: At the time it first came out I hated Pes 5 for its tough gameplay and first pro game I found it complicated to go past defenders but when I play it now the game is a utter master piece.
PS3: Pes 13 hands down most complete Pes today, 14 had the right intentions but has failed unfortunately imo!
