If you're playing on the PS2, you can just buy them in the PES Shop, but on the PS3 and 360 versions, you need to win certain tournaments.

As far as I have worked out, the lists of what you need to win are:
Master League: D2 League, D2 Cup, D1 League, D1 Cup, Masters Cup, European Championship
Regional tournaments: European, African, Asia-Oceana and Americas tournaments
World Cup, with: England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Argentina and Brazil
Domestic leagues: English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and French.

Shit, that's actually depressed me a bit; I have only done the World Cups and the D1 League & Masters Cup

They're the weak teams??? As opposed to the strong teams like England (ha), Brazil (look at their squad list), and Argentina (same as Brazil)???


It's the domestic leagues which is the huge majority of unlocking players; to win all the leagues, it would be roughly 160ish matches.
