Because for some reason those crazy people at Konami give the players different statistics.

Makes you wonder just how accurate the stats for the players are really.

It's because the licenced clubs are fully licenced so that includes having the correctly licenced kits as well as all the players being correct. But not all the national teams are included in the FifPro (or whatever) licence so the details are faked - but we can still guess who most players are supposed to be.
