^pes 5 right. :)
I think a cross between pes 5 and 6 would be the best. But in pes 6 the keepers sometimes reacted wayyyy to superhuman like (van der sar as an example)
If I had to choose I say pes 5 had the best keepers.

Nah Pes 3 had the best keepers by far. All the rest are just stupid robots but in Pes 3 they had some intelligence. Loved the way they come out of the box and calmly play the ball.

and if you play on hard it would be difficult to get into a position to be able to chip... only pure team work would result in a goal "Brazilesque team work mind you"

werent the keepers too easy to chip in pes 5 ?

No, that was PES4.

Indeed, the keepers were utter shit in PES4 and that game was almost as bad as PES2008 for general AI pishness. How anyone can cite the PES game that introduced the cut back (which has only jsut been ironed out in PES2009 to be replaced by the 15 degree angle tap in) to the series as the greatest PES ever, is beyond me.

Yes, in PES4 the keepers made all the impossible saves but let go all the easy ones. Thus rendering going for nothing but 'lame arsed pussy jewboy pocket-dipping arsehole goals' the only sensible way to play the game.

Unfortunately this tradition has persisted amongst 'serious pes gamers' to this very day.

I don't really think any PES game has had decent skills or Keepers in honesty. The keepers animations were better in previous installments like pes5 & pes6... but matches were always full of clangers from even the most competent keepers. as for skills, like i said none of the skills have ever really been implemented properly and looked disjointed. None were ever that effective

I think Pes 5 really showed differences between goalkeepers.
In pes 6, they sometimes made really impossible saves.
