Which version of WE7 has more/better patching options?

I'd like to buy either WE7(J) or WE7:I(J), but before I do I have some questions:

1) Which version offers more patching options?
2) It seems like Wendetta's and Jonboyo's are the most common patching options, but which version supports better quality patches?
3) I'm guessing that since Konami has released different versions of WE7 they play differently. Does one version clearly outshine the other? Are there any major gameplay differences between the two?

If anyone could offer up any other opinions on which version is superior to the other please feel free to add them. Thanks.

2) Wendetta, which is only out for WE7, not WE7:I, keep in mind that jb is a one man team, for that he does a great job
3) There´s only one version of WE7, but many different WE7:I versions, go for the Japanese one, check the sticky thread in the general gaming

I've read the thread about WE7:IJ and it seems to me like its pretty much the same version as the US version that I own now. Which version is it that contains a disproportionate amount of handballing that I hear people talking about.

In your assessment, which patch is more complete? Wendetta's or Jonboyo's?

Both patches are very good.
I believe that more and more patches will be coming out for WE7:IJ from now on.
WE7:IJ is definitely the best game out of the lot, to me.
