Im a hardcore PES fan and really excited about this years game after playing the demo. I bought the UK version last year because of the availability of option files.
The only problem was that I could only connect to euro servers to play online. I could still connect to friends (they had the US version) but I have always found there was plenty of lag.
to those of you who bought the US version last year, how was the online play? lag or no?

Honestly the online play for me was trash..No matter where the person lived there would still be plenty of lag..(even in NY, and that's where I live!)..so I'm not sure the lag should be a real issue when trying to decide which version to buy..unless Konami has drastically improved their online play, I'm not sure it makes a big difference. Oh and I'm on xbox 360 if that matters.
