why is the league so easy?

the master league has got way too easy! i dont understand why the other teams in the league never seem to get near you in terms of points! i always win the league by a massive margin (as i'm sure most of you do ;)) and i dont even play with a good squad. even with the a.i being poor when you play against them, you think they could still pick up points in other matches so that you really had to work to win the title and got pused all the way, having epic battles for the tittle (like the 95, 99 and 03 premiership seasons) it would make the game so much more exciting

Yeah, I think this is the major thing that needs improving for PES4.
Its much too easy to beat the computer and it gets quite boring.
Try being a bad team in a new master league, see if that works or decrease stats from your players.
See if it makes a difference, probably wont :D

Whenever I do ML it always seems that their are no teams that consistenly challenge you for the title. In the Northern League Chelsea and Man U don't win nearly as many games as they should, when I play them it may be difficult but even if I lose I am still confident of making up the points. They should dominate as much as in reality.

yeah thats what really bugs me as well. you never get the chace to build up rivalries with teams (like man utd and arsenal in the premiership for instance) because one year a team is challenging for the title and the next they're getting relegated.

the opposition just dont win enough games to challenge. i want to be behind in the league every now and again! not top of it all season. that just gets boring

I presume you're all playing it on the hardest difficulty settings. If not, then you shouldn't complain about the ease of the game, obviously.

I would recommend you all to have a look at the "Play as the Default ML Team" thread, and attempt the challenge - if you're all so confident. Believe me, playing with the default team can prove challenging.

I just started one yesterday, 3-1 victory over Lyon and a lucky 1-0 victory thanks to an own goal by Legwinski. :D

Yeah, its a good idea and makes it harder but I like to actually play with real players and teams.
i get bored playin with castolo, ximelez etc.

Then just chnage the appearances and name of these players using an option file editor to the players you want, but keep the stats as they are.

yeah same here, i dont understand why the game is so easy when you play man utd and arsenal who have evenly matched teams yet over a league season theres such a difference in points. i dont want to have to play with unknown, rubbish players because it takes away from the big match atmosphere of having a top of the table clash with 2 teams sharing some of the worlds greatest players
