Why wasn't I promoted?

I did the Master League division D, and finished first, won the cup and got promoted.

Then I finished the Master League Division C, finished first and won the cup. I do my pre season friendlies, and for some reason I'm in the same damn league except I'm not in for the Champions League.

What's goin on!?

You can only get promoted once.

So how am I supposed to get into the higher leagues if I can only get from D to C and not from C to B?

In the help topics under Promotion and Relegation terms it says the top two teams of the league will be promoted to the league above

The A, B, C, D are just names for the leagues. If Konami had the licenses it could be EPL, Serie A, La Liga etc instead. Untill then they'll just name them by the letter.

You can't play in the other leagues, but they will decide who you face in the two inter-league CUP tournaments.

Also are you sure you didn't think I meant League?

If they are the respective leagues, then why are there clubs from other leagues (E.G a few Serie A clubs in La Liga) in different ones??

Once you have bought the ML edit thing from the PES shop you can choose which teams you want in each league.

I remember when, with each new edition of PES, we would expect a division added to the master league, then they took it away. I also liked th playoff thing - where the top 2 would play the bottom 2 of the next division. Master league is good, but it was better before.

i agree, the best master league was in proevo2, 3 divisions with fast flowing football.

The 3rd division was an awesome idea, if my memory serves me right Division 3 consisted of 8 pretty average teams, then Div 2 would consist of about 14-16 average-good teams then Div 1 would consist of 16 of the best teams.

Yer i agree it was definitely the best apart from the fact you had to start wid the default team

but at least you could develop a large squad within about 5 matches.
