Will PES 2008 work on my laptop?

Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop with the following spec:

OS: Windows Vista Home Basic
Chip: Intel Celeron 540 1.86GHz
GFX: Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
RAM: 1014MB
HDD: 62GB

Should do. Might run it a bit slow but shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Cool, just what i wanted to hear! I don't care if it's not on top settings, just wanna experience the next gen version. I hate that term!

Also, i know it had issues with widescreens. I have a 1280x800 resolution setting. Is PES compatible with that? I've already found and downloaded the widescreen fix patch in case....

Not so sure about the widescreen thing. Might have to be a suck it a see exercise. If it doesnt work then you can just reset the settings.

I checked that before posting on here but PES 2008 isn't in the list of games to test.

I tested FIFA 08 though and it said it would run that fine so I assume it would run PES 2008? Or is that a bad assumption to make?

I am able run PES 2008 on my laptop. It’s an ACER ASPIRE 3682, XP PRO SP2, 512 mb ram, http://www.officeworks.com.au/techn...ines/voip-phones-accessories/AC3682VSTA.shtml

I have no trouble playing PES but can only play it on the lowest settings.
Your laptop should run PES 2008 ok. (You might have issues with vista but I think I've seen a thread about trouble shooting Vista)

It is unlikely to allow you anything other than the low graphics detail and there's the chance it could run slowly due to the graphics card and RAM.
