Will PES 2009 (uk) play in North American PS3?

yeah maybe i mean from what i read so far about pes2009 i think it might turn out to be the best soccer game ever to be honest with you.....i still think PES2008 had alot of flaws but comapared to fifa it was AWESOME....but pes2009 i think will really take soccer into another level gameplay wise

I'm not expecting anything Next Gen from PES09 (if you get what I mean).. But Honestly, IF it's just as good as PES6 (or PES5) I will be happy with it for at least a year.

And by the way, FIFA is not even worth of comparison.. even if PES08 was a complete disappointment -FIFA- still hasn't produced a Football Sim as good as either PES5 or PES6.

true that.......i guess by NEXT GEN u mean GRAPHICS? I think will see next gen graphics and animations but nothing mind boggling .... i mean the floodlights and sun are said to be looking spectacular and the grass looks awesome from the shots ive seen so that will definitely give it a cleaner and crisper look. But im not expecting GEARS OF WAR graphics.

Introducing a Next Gen system of Stats and Special Abilities that covers all the BASIC (Essential) Aspects of Football that aren't properly covered by current games, Introducing Significant improvements to the Gameplay, Introducing New Control Features, etc, etc..

Not just Graphics, something Revolutionary.

I really don't see the point of releasing it by the 31st of December -because- by that time most US customers will already be playing FIFA09.

That will be good for FIFA -however- that date release doesn't helps Konami at all, at least not in the US market.

Still, it is kind of cool.. a good way to start 2009.

Konami never gave an exact date, so, IGN is only guessing it, like before when they said March 31st; so it's possible the game will be out in America and Europe at the same time, fingers crossed

They should release it at the same time.. Seriously, why shouldn't they all be released at the same time?? That's how PES should be released.

Anyways, if PES09 is as good as PES6 -then- the game will sell itself; Graphics + Gameplay.

you dont need an hdtv to play pes08........if it comes out in november i probably wait for the us version because it took a month to get the game from china.
