where did you get Winning Eleven 2008 for the PS3 in the US? or is it a Japanese import you bought in the US?

No idea what you are talking about...but I bought my WE2008 Asia version (English) from Hong Kong. It works fine, you can play on-line with others, if you don't care the major lagging issue.
