I've not bothered with the PES games for a few years now. I used to play it on the PS years ago, and it was great fun, the Master league made the game for me. So I decided to pull myself away from Football manager 2008 and actually play some football instead of managing.
The gameplay is superb! Everything feels so fluid, so fast and life like. The animations are truly brilliant. The same core gameplay is still there, the fun factor, it's just as I remember it years ago, except all of its been improved. Even the silly club an stadium names are still there, and the kits are plain, but I don't care about all that. All flash an no substance is what EA Sports prides itself on, give me this plain exterior filled with fast paced enthralling footballing action any day.
I've not looked around the forum so I don't know what the general feeling about the game is, but it sure as hell gets a two thumbs up from me and I thought i'd share my praise.
