World Cup 2010 mode question

I just tried setting up a world cup game in PES 2010 (SMOKE patch) and I noticed that all teams, except player teams, are randomly generated and what's more, it doesn't appear like the selection follows the rules of the competition. i.e. It is entirely possible for the draw to include almost no European teams.

Is there a way to manually select which teams I'd like to participate? I tried setting up a Community Cup, thinking I would be able to choose all teams there, but it turns out, they were randomly generated in that mode as well.

Any help would be welcome.


edit: I just confirmed the situation applies to the Euro Cup as well. I suspect it is the same in all cups. It can be pretty annoying to choose one of those modes and have the best teams (e.g. England, France, Spain, etc.) missing, because they didn't make the random draw.

Yeah, it's a bit dumb the way the random draws happen. It's even more messed up in community mode, coz it'll throw in clubs, countries, whatever.
You can add and remove teams by clicking "x" on them, or move them around by pressing triangle. You have to do your own draw basically

That's great actually. I hadn't noticed, that the screen, that appears right after you choose your team, is editable. Now I can create the actual 2010 World Cup Groups in the game.
