xbox 360 or ps3?

The ps3 will be a superior machine.
It has a higher definition output for HD monitors and I have friends who are developers
of games and that is their feeling at this time.
Besides Konami is japanese and the japanese make far more careful games than most US companies, so the japanese hardware will be the more prefered of the best designers
though their marketing people will tell them to say otherwise.

yeah... i tried the xbox 360 and was astonished by the graphics... but many had advised waiting for the more powerful ps3 to be on the market so u can compare which is better~~ it seems ps3 had more to offer... maybe that's why xbox 360 had a earlier release date so it can wow consumer with their graphics, with their superior being compared to the current consoles...

How will you know that the PS3 is superior?? It's not out yet!
Maybe it does support 1080p, but how many people have a screen supporting that resolution?
From the specs it seems that the PS3 has a better CPU but the xbox 360 has a better GPU. Also the PS3 hasn't got that much bandwidth so it can't actually use all of it's potential! Plus the fact that the 'worse' graphics chip of the PS3 will not support both AA and HDR at the same time! The xbox 360 will do that due to it's 10MB of embedded RAM! Maybe it has got the blueray drive, but it's the first generation blueray, and will only support one layer dics in the beginning. The xbox 360 will get a HD-DVD drive (external) later on for movie purposes to begin with!
All i all I think that it will be two good consoles, and that the games will decide which one to favour!
