Xbox controllers SUCK

dammit! I wish I got this game on ps2 soooooo bad. It's so hard to do the accuracy shots, having to press shoot and the black button at the same time, it's a big ask of the digits. I know you can change button combo's, but no matter what way you do it, it stuffs up the system. i like all the other buttons, just the black one is retarded. Super cancel is also bloody tedious to pull off. In fact, anythign that would normally use the r2 button is tedious. I HATE YOU XBOX.

Other than that, game is good, if a little hard to score. Oh, and the fact that no matter how fast your player is, he always gets caught up by the defence within seconds, that part REALLY annoys me!

i've played pes on my ps2 and other people's xbox and i agree its made a lot harder because teh xbox controller only has 1 shoulder button on each side instead of 2, which the ps2 has got. before they changed the freekick controls for pes5, it was really hard to do the freekick which you just take a little bit of power off, but thats now dont which X instead of triangle

not hard for me, after all two shoulder buttons are only thing that's better in PS2 controller.. Have you tried PS2 analogs, gosh, it's 2005 now, it shouldnt be like amiga joystic.. OK I admit that XBOX white and black buttons are not too good, but you can get use to it.

I dont think they suck,(now referring to the first post) only the white and black buttons are pish. But you dont really need em.

Depends on which Xbox Controller you have, the early version is indeed a big ugly one.

The S controller is much prettier i think, but i agree that the black and white button are a little bit tough to use in PES.

The Xbox 360 controller looks beter.

yeah, it's mainly just the black and white buttons that are a travesty. In fact it's ONLY the black and white buttons that are a travesty. But they are exactly that..... a travesty

i think there ok its just hard if you need to pull of a quick shot with them

for free kicks and dribbleing there not bad
