Just phoned xbox support (0800 5871102) and was told the update was officially released today and that different peeps get it at different times according to where they are and we should all have downloaded it within the next 24hrs!!!

At last!!!!;)

Im saying this now If the guy (was english not the american support they sometimes put us through to) was for whatever reason wrong, please dont shoot the messenger (aka me) this is what I've just been told by phoning them, I know how much we've all wanted this fix.;)

I've phoned up again, got my flatmate to phone up and also know of another league buddy whos just phoned up and we all got more confirmation that the update was indeed released today, he said different peoples xboxs download it at different times (dont know why?) we should be able to download it anytime between now and at the latest tomorrow evening.

Cant get any clearer than that!!!

yup just turned pc back on to tell u this, but someone beat me to it!!! rankings reset!

if they've just implimented this and cleaered the stats now hrs after the patch has been released, it shows they can change the rankings server side, could they be gearing up to change the ranking system entirely i.e. the wanted elo system?

people are reporting getting no points for wins, and if peeps arent getting points for wins, could they be about to change something, server side.

would be great, but i bet not.

In one client match, everything froze and then played very quickly again to catch up. This happened 3 times in one match, including when a penalty was taken against me (for which I hadn't even pressed a button and my defender fouled the forward!). I couldn't see the penalty live but the quick-view showed that the keeper saved it and then pushed the rebound wide for a corner.

Weird stuff.

And polakis you twat- why the hell did you invite me to a match 3 times when I was already in the middle of playing?? 2 declines not enough?? You've been deleted from my friends list. Only invite people when it says they are "online" or available" not when they are "playing".


Overall, it's not that great. Will have to play a few more matches to see how it goes.

Its still shit, lag is still bad and Played a game which I lost 3-0 due to severe lag, not much difference at all except the rankings,

Zyg mate, was that penalty in the 2nd game against me? I was very surprised in our first game, just got the patch and expected everything to be sorted but how wrong could I be. I was lucky to get the 2 goals in that game!!! At least the cheaters have been dealt with.......lol

Yeah mate. And what about the 3 you got in the other one? 3 shots, saved by the keeper and you pounced on all the rebounds. After I changed keepers you didn't score. Weird.

nojanana - some people like the sounds. How are you going to make them all turn it off?
