I don't have the games myself, so i can't pass judgement, but it's kind of a funny story with the graphics thing. Some people say that the Xbox-version is better and some say the PS2-version is better, when it comes to graphics. Penalty area slowdowns should be gone in the XBox version though, which in my book is a BIG plus.

there is no difference in graphics, some of the pitches look a bit different though. I agree loading periods are much quicker, even get pro evo 4 in the corner of the screen when changing to a cut scene.

perhaps those people who are saying the graphics are worse are using the crappy cable that comes with the xbox. One may think it is a scart, but its not, and it sint RGB, so the picture isnt sharp and the colours arent too good.

Yea mate, thats what he means, BUT, not S-video, use a "Scart". Unless Xbox does offer S-video connector then thats ok.

The only difference i seen so far after playing for 2 days now on xbox and 1 month on ps2 is that the pitches seems to have more details than in the ps2 version.
And the loading is of course faster in xbox as they uses harddrive.

From what ive heard off people with both versions is the xbox on ehas the better graphics, just to anybody with the xbox version:

do some people still have the wierd glitcy hair that goes wierd when they celebrate a goal, i know Rooney tends to get this i bit on the ps2 version

The hair thing....I didn't notice a 'glitch' as such, it just seemed that Konami had made all players have a shiny head/hair, so there was always a patch of light reflecting off their noggin...is this still in the xbox version?

also, T1000... regarding the video cable...I'm getting the new crystal Xbox, do you know if that still comes with the poor video cable or have microsoft sorted it?

Yep, i got the crystal, and it DOES come with the standard cable. Like I said, your best stop is ebay, as people are selling brand new cables for a few quid, which will do the job.
