I own a 360 an PS3, i bought PES 2008 pn PS3, im thinking of buying PES2009 on the 360 this time round. (mainly for online play)

did anyone play pes2008 on both consoles and did they notice any difference?

Will there be any minor differences between pes 2009 on the 360 an Ps3 with regards to editing

has anyone else got both consoles, and which are they thinking of buying PES2009 for?

Sorry if there is a similar thread.

the ps3 version will have better option files as it is easier to transfer optionfiles

i am getting the ps3 version and when your xob live runs out then no more online but psn is free and the online is supposedly improved

I have played 2008 on 360, PS3 and PC, and i must say, there isn't a noticeable difference in the game. If you have the PC capabilities, then i'd say get it on the PC. Its easier to patch, share goals etc.

Ive got a high-spec gaming PC so it can handle the likes of PES 2009 and GTA IV when it comes out.

Xbox live is better than PSN. It's a known fact. Also pes 2008 was a bit better on 360 in framerate but it's the same on everything else.
As for option files.Yeah it is easier on ps3 to transfer them I think because on 360 there are slight risks with live. But how does anyone know that there will be better option files for ps3. The game isn't even out yet.

that was mainly because konami didnt have a clue what to do with the ps3 hardware. but now they've got their heads around it (i.e. MGS4) it should be much improved.

if you look at the OF made last year with the crappy editing mode you'd be suprised at how good they were. there are people who edit the game down to the last player stat to match the real life counterparts

Well I tried the PES 2008 on PS3 at my friends house last year and there were so many bugs and glitches while on the 360 it's more reliable to play a match. I dunno about this time round but I heard that the 2009 version for the PS3 has been improved.
