i've just been on the official ps2 forums page.under the heading WHICH WILL YOU BUY FIRST,he asked which football game everyone will get first.the majority are getting fifa 2004 because of online play and others getting club football because it has their team on the cover.but the disturbing part of the forum was one member saying that he had heard pes3 was going to be the worst football game on the nxt-gen consoles!! so he is stearing well clear of it and getting fifa. is he mad,misinformed or from another planet? how many other people have been fed the wrong information. we must get the word out on all forums and spread the truth...oh,see you in a week.im off to ibiza in a few hours...adios amigos!!!

How do they know PES3 will be the worst football game - have they played an advance copy? I dont think so.
FIFA is years behind PES and i believe it will take a few more games past 2004 for them to learn their lesson and produce a playable football game. The other Club Football game is so gimmicky its untrue. Just shows what a star player on the box can do for a game.

there was a piece in op2m that said club football was surprisingly playable and you could alter the games setup so it played like pes2 or fifa,whichever you prefered.wait for a playable demo before passing judgement on that one.as for fifa,wouldnt touch it with a bargepole.

People will always be influenced by the advertising and the flashy players names and endorsements.

I think it's quite normal, that F*** sells better than PES, Zygalski explained the reasons, a lot of gamers are superficial, they look more at original names and shirts than at the gameplay. It's their loss, I don't have any problems with that. What brings you an online-play option if the game is a piece of s*** like F***.
The argument is a bit silly. Some people like playing arcade games, others like to play simulators, fifa is more arcade, and pes is definetely closer to a simulator than fifa is. Its all about what you want to get out of your experience.
And i dont really care about the club and player kits, i edited those manually, without an xport, so thats easily done, and if pes3 has the option to load up your pes2 option file first time like pes 2 had with pes1... im satisifed.
Im more interested in gameplay than player kits, its all relative!

As much as i hate to say it there has been no announcement from kcet about the online capabilities of their forth coming installement of the winning eleven series leavin me to guess that there will be no online play...first no official licences and now no online play konami HOW MUCH DO U THINK WE CAN TAKE!!!!
