Your experience with BAL

Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm interested how are you familiar with the BAL mode in PES games. Did you play this mode in previous PES games as well?

I'm interested because this is my first time playing this mode. I'm currently in my 3rd season, signed with Bayern. I play on Regular as a CF and I managed to score around 140 goals in 110 games in my career, so yeah, it has become too easy to score and it's not really interesting anymore. I tried playing on Professional/Top Player for a few games and it was really frustrating since I rarely got a shot on goal :D.

I created a new player(CF), started with Heeeenveen (58 overall). I'm trying to play on Top player but I rarely get a chance to shoot since the defenders are blocking all the shots and because of that my manager rating is always dropping and I'm watching from the stands pretty much now :S

So when you started playing BAL did you play it on Top Player/Superstar from the beginning or did you move Normal - Professional - Top Player as you got better in your career. If so, how long did it take you to get used to each difficulty?

It get's boring and so far removed from real football in my experience.
Not much difference between top player and superstar but just gets tiresome when your player become good.
Repetitive shit from Konami's structure just get more and more annoying.Props to any individual who has played Bal till past 20.

I think it's fairly limited and not as immersive as FIFA's equivalent. The features I like in FIFA:

* seeing where my player should be positioned
* seeing the effect of my actions, knowing if they have a positive or negative effect
* seeing my rating change during the game

These make the games much more immersive in my opinion. Become a Legend feels lifeless in comparison.

But in Virtual Pro, it is soooo sooooo easy to get an international call-up when you're seventeen and it is too easy to score and assist eventhough the FIFA AI isn't as smart as PES AI
