What is your most favourite game out of the whole GTA series? Mine is without a doubt San Andreas. I know it had pointless things people didn't like ie having to eat or your muscle went down etc but it was still an enjoyable game.

I can't actually make up my mind, each game has it's pros and cons.
But if I had to choose, I'll pick VC.

IV is probably the best, but I prefer the arcade (read: crazy and unrealistic) driving in the earlier versions. You know, shake the cops with some crazy moves that would get you an unlimited driving suspension everywhere, making them bump into everyone and their families.

I have fond memories of GTA II and the tank it had, Vice City's soundtrack and style (yellow suit!), San Andreas' vibe and size and GTA III being the transition from old-skool to the style we know today.

III, Vice City and IV I love equally. I seriously couldn't pick one. I haven't actually completed IV yet, so lets see how it pans out and then maybe I'll be able to pick a definite favourite. San Andreas was great, but the majority of the story was daft, and all the jet-pack, fighter-jets and sneaking into military bases was just a load of shite.

The others are average games really and I didn't complete any of them.

SA was the most fun for dicking about on but the stroy was a bit cunty. Also the City may have been massive but most of it was Countryside and I started to get bored of all that wank. VC was the most colourful, the best story and the best music.

My favourite so far has been San Andreas, closely followed by IV, then III and lastly Vice City. Reasonings as follows...

San Andreas' story wasn't the greatest and as many others suggest, it was not realistic. However, this game had the most replayability out of all of the games, it was so vast, and the fact we could get away from the city life was a breath of fresh air. I played this game a lot, and I enjoyed it.

GTA IV is great, there's no denying that, but i've only just started to play it, maybe it will rank above SA once i've had a real fuck about with it and completed it, but until then it closely follows SA. This game seems much more fun what with the physics anarl...

I placed Vice City last, probably joint third with III. I wasnt really old enough to appreciate the 80's vibe having missed out on that decade- music was still great though...

Who voted for GTA 1?

Hitman.

I haven't played on either of the story ones or IV, but I voted for San Andreas. I was tempted to go with GTA III as that was something very new and innovative when it came out. Vice City wasn't great compared to GTA III and San Andreas, but it was still good enough to keep me playing it until San Andreas came out.

Tough. Loved III as it brought something new. Had it's issues, but was so far ahead of anything else you could overlook them. Wasn't the biggest SA fan, too much drivel and heel dragging across nothing. If i have to pick one, i'd go for IV. Maybe just because i'm playing it now, but the story is brilliant, the voice acting excellent, the characters, the decisions, the driving and lets not forget the next gen graphics and polish. Pure class.
