Deckz, this patch is excellent, but I have the same issue. And I have tried it several times. The premisership teams appear under the wrong division. THe french teams appear under barclays and coca cola championship.

Sorry, that old link is now broken...i just updated it a new one.
Theres a PES2008_EDIT01.bin file somewhere within the patch, put that in My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer\Save. You might want to back up your original PES2008_EDIT01.bin first just incase.
This should do it for you.

Thank you so much. Does it have anything to do with the PES2008_EDIT01.bin. as it says it is 0kb? Thats how the file appears with teh patch.

i've applied the edit file a few and retried it several times with no results. no championship players an all the ligue 1 guys are still in the same place, everythings returned to the defaults with that edit file. an i dont think it should be 0kb ... ?

I have a weird crazy glitch where the patch works perfectly except the Wolves kit is still the kit of the corresponding Ligue 1 side.
I've tried re-patching the img files but that didn't help.
I wouldn't mind very much but I am a Wolves fan (typical)...

Very sorry guys, i never noticed the PES2008_EDIT01.bin was at 0kb, it sould be approx 16kbs, i'll upload the new patch asap.
but i got a deadline day coming up so bear with me abit longer...

yeh lol, that was the whole point of this patch, when you start a ML , choose your desired league, and when prompted if you would like to edit, hit 'yes' and from there on, you can edit all four leagues including the division 2 for your chosen one.
if you wait for my next update, all the logos and names would be done for leagues A to D; (eg A= prem, B=la liga, c=seria a, d=uefa rest of europe)

Wow, thanks a lot, that's an awesome patch, finally can start playing as an english team in master league.
One small thing I noticed is that West Ham (one red and one white, both samsung sponsors) seem to have a weird kit, but to be honest I don't really care about West Ham, now that I can avoid Fenerbache beating my premiership side, it's all good, thanks a lot

Cheers mate, but most of the stuff here are done by others (credits on first post), but my next update would have more of my own stuff in it.

well so far everythings lookin awesome...all credit goes to deckz for this greatly needed post =) one thing though...pes2008 crashed on me during a replay...usually i'd press start and fast forward but it crashed while i was adjusting camera views...this never happened before the patch...not sure if its cuz of the patch or if its just something else...well regardless as long as i dont try adjusting the replay too much its fine...everyone with pes2008 for PC should download this patch since its the most functional one out so far =)
