What are your suggestions to improve PES for next year or what new ideas do you have for the game?

I'll start off.

Fix the online service.
Change the master league completely.
More club teams, english championship and more european leagues including Germany, portugal, Turkey and Scotland.
more editing options.

Im sure there are plenty of others you can think of.

I wish they would bring the old editing back, then i can make the teams i want when i want, id rather spend hours drawing badges etc then waiting for a option file which can only have 8 kits on.

Alot of space from clubs, make the championship and some more clubs like LA Galaxy etc.

I hope for a multiplayer lan option.

Reason for online lag when playing with user far away is bcos pes got too much information and details to send. So i hope they can get it right and keep it simple so we can REALLY play with user far away from us.

i have always wanted to make a stadium on a football game that would really top your club off :O :D but if not they should have a game where they make the basics for you like the top teams man utd ,bayern munich, like in all the european leagues then they should leave you with enough to make the smaller teams in edit modes :D

The things I would like are:

* Fix the online problems
* Fork out for the license to use real English Premiership teams/logos
* Have more club teams and leagues including English Championship, Serie B, Segunda Liga, Turkey, Germany, Portugal, Scotland etc
* Have full editing menus to edit appearances, teams, logos, kits, balls, boots etc
* Allow to use OF details online (not sure if this is possible - but if they get all licenses and do a good job on kits and logos, OF's may not necessarily be such a big issue)
* Include many more stadiums, or at least all international stadiums and all stadiums from major leagues such as EPL, Serie A, Primera etc and link them to correct teams so there's a a better home and away feeling
* Improve the audio element of the game as the menu music etc are rubbish - perhaps a move towards 'real' songs would be best
* Improve the passing controls so less passes are passed to random empty spaces or into a corner/throw in
* Make the free kick controls more accessible and less complex as it is near impossible to score free kicks without using 'certain' known methods - needs to be more random techniques instead of being able to use same techniques over and over
* To create an equal complete new version on all formats, e.g. shirt pull and diving etc on all formats not just specific formats

I may have a few more when I think about it more too.....

heres a few things id like in new pro evo

same number of teams as fifa or swos for that matter
more club teams from round the world
new master league with added management aspect
fatigue of players more realistic
more injuries in master league
new commentary from top to bottom
proper licenced music in game and on menus
scenario mode back
full international teams playable
new player moves like short corners( like 2player fk)
players to take corners with either right or left foot(like iss deleuxe on snes)
better free kicks

100 or more stadiums(licenced or unlicenced)
new weather conditions(fog,wind)
weather changes during matches(from rain to sleet to snow)
full pitch damage(divetts,mud)

new edit mode to cover all bases(like pes6 but better)
full player edit
full kit edit(5 kits per team,3player,2 keeper)
full ball edit
full boot edit
full ref edit
full logo badge edit(500 spaces)
online edit updates(new templates balls boots) like fifa
better online modes and leagues(like fifa)

this game is now on next gen consoles so there is no issue of not having the space to make all these changes happen,if swos on the amiga 10years ago could have all those teams

http://database.swos.info/start.html

surely pes can on the ps3 and xbox can match that,my fear is that we will be waiting another 3-4 years to see a full proper next gen version as most companies will only dripfeeed a few changes each year so we all keep coming back for more

this is the first year since iss deluxe that i have bought fifa in the same year as pes and il be honest in saying that for what a next game is meant to be fifa wins hands down(thats a sad thing to say) and pes2008 is the worst pes ive played

They can't licence the Premier League, FIFA have exclusive rights at the moment, I believe until 2010.

How about normal defending (tackling) without cards for every time you tackle or players runnin' right through you.
Referees who do a good job.
Full stadiums
Master league which you can change.Like how many leagues and teams .
And don't look at Fifa gameplay because it sucks If I wanted that I would bought it and now pes sucks so please bring back the old gameplay.

Last year people suggested new commentators and diving among other things and got them but it doesnt seem to have had much of an effect.

I think that they should completely change the defending in the game. At top player it can be frustatingly difficult to defend when a team is on the break against you or even in normal build up play it is hard to defend. You cant make a tackle because you cant get close enough to the man and if you do try o get close the man will just run past you leaving you for dead.
The only way to tackle is to slide tackle and that has a 30% success rate. Even if you do a good slide tackle the opposition will gather the ball again quickly.

-They should make a youth academy for each club and where you have scouts to search for youth players which you have to train to become the new Kaká :)
-A newspaper
- And also each year you see which players are selected for international matches and you can see if they won or not and there should be world cup, african cup...
- More teams ( licences of course:p)
- And also that every ref and his assistents have a good reputation or bad, for example that the good referees and assistents hardly make onside and offside mistakes and the bad ones really make big mistakes like that they don't flag for offside in which the opponent can score and where the team can really protest.
- More heat in the game, like when Man Utd and Chelsea are playing each other or city rivals play each other there will be fears tackles and more cards and injuries.
- A level A to E of injury proneness, Michael Owen is always injured.
- This might not be necessary but they could make the amount of tape that a player uses different, Cristiano always but alot however Gerrard always puts one layer which at the end of the match has fallen of. So a small, medium and high tape level.
-A division2 for every league in ML so that teams that end last every can actually sort themselves out in division2.

These were my ideas :p

I couldn't agree more the defending part is totally fucking up the game for me, I gave it a try for weeks now but it doesn't improve and it's frustrating me more everyday.
I'm already thinking of buying last years version.

Do buy it. At least PES 6 was fun and you can actually defend against the COM.

Another thing all the time when i give a cross there's nobody at the first post or second, in real life you see strikers all most killing themselves to be at the first post to try and score a goal or they run to the first post and take a defender with them to create a gap behind them for the other striker at the second post.

Another thing that I would like to see on PES 2009 is an upgrade of the scoreboards etc.

I'd like it if it was more realistic, like if you had BBC scoreboards for Premier League, Sky Sports for FA Cup, Channel 5 for UEFA Cup, Canal+ for Serie A etc.

And also, if it had the team names on the BBC/Sky Sports/Channel 5/Canal+ etc scoreboards instead of the team emblems. I know this can be changed via OF's but would be better if it came as standard.

This would all give a more realistic feel to the game.
