Yeap its the same, some games that are already using it are, Star Wars: Force Unleashed, GTA 4, backbreaker and indiana jones. If FIFA release their 2009 game and features the euphoria engine while PES not, I think its difficult for Konami to climb back up. I hope Konami use it in PES 2009, it would be the most important decision, the one using it first will set a benchmark in footie games.

It's actually not about exclusive rights, every game can use Euphoria, they only need to spend more in terms of game development, thats all, and the implementation to game will be help by the Euphoria technician, in fact making a game will be easier with the help from the Euphoria group, they only need to spend more.
Erm I just wanted to say that everyone goes on about how fifa have this license over the premier league but konami have the rights to la liga,serie a,eredivisie and ligue 1 and fifa have rights over these too so why cant konami buy the premiership licence or do fifa only have exclusive over the premiership not the other leagues.
Also btw i can't see konami buying the rights after 2010 because ea can offer loads of cash for this exclusive deal and konami can't.

Well, for the premier license, as long as edit mode is there, I see no problems

the player rating is system is shit
the other day i got a 5.5 when i got 2 goals and 1 assist with scharwz and was involved in everything that happened going forwards
and i notice other teams like valencia who were no.2 in the club rankings get 7.0 or over for all of their players
its just annoying and leves me with no hope of winning the mvp

They need to fix the game speed but the most irritating part is the stamina. I hate the stamina system for the 360/ps3/pc versions of 2008. I also want the old edit mode back. At least we can play with all teams almost licensed. Also some gameplay issues like passing and especially the bad defending.
The passing system for the low pass, high pass and high through pass is ok as well as the cross. Need to work on the ground through pass though, for example player that have higher success and inteligent pass skill should pull off a more difficult and dangerous pass. I prefer better through pass than skilled players for my midfield i.e (fabregas) he should pull off some great through pass, in PES2008 I see no diff between players, only slightly , while in PES 5 or 6, its more dangerous.

I think everyone will agree, that sometimes when you pass a direction it passes the other way. Also sometimes when you hold x (on ps) longer it doesn't pass to the player that is further away.
Also what i would like to see is when you shoot at goal, the goalie just stands there and then jumps. in real live the goalie doesn't wait for the ball to go left or right and then suddenly dives that direction.the goalie takes 1 or 2 steps and then dives. There are no spectacular saves since pes1 on ps1. I want to see the goalie make awesome saves.
the keeper should be stronger and scoring should be difficult. Shooting should be easier. Shots that go wide over bring no excitements to the game. i rather see the ball hitting the post or go directly into the goalies hand than to go 100 mtrs over. But when holding "shot" al the way i don't care if it goes over cause then it's to much power on the ball.
Also scoring is all the same. Many people go into the box and score the same over and over and over. Hitting the post more often brings excitement to the game.
Another thing that really pissed me of, that the computer decides if you miss a penalty or not. It's more fun if you everything in your own hands. With pes 2008 when it comes to penalty I either quit or play the game over.

the ball cant just hit the post it is based on the dynamics of the shot people dont want to hit the post either.. your telling me instead of scoring a goal you'd rather hit the post?? i no i would rather score, thats what brings excitement to any football game, thats what its about scoring and winning!!!

and as for penalties... there easy the comp doesnt jip you out of it. just aim left and right its all based on chance if you miss alot with the same player change who takes the penalties!!
