no problem, you've done alot as it is with the patch, its a way of giving something back. looks damn good on a high def screen i might add. might tweak about with some of the pc settings to max out the quality further.

I have yet to experience this on a HD screen, would like to try..

I only have a program (kitserver) which enables various Screen Resolutions previously disabled by Konami.

Hey after installing the patch something really random has happened to my pc lol. Basically if the resolution is set to 4:3 my game speeds up *really* fast all the players on screen run like their on steroids and the menus browse through alot faster too. However when on 16:9 mode the game goes back to normal speed (i think) or at least slower. But after say a few minutes in game my pc freezes and then i get a "the nv4_disp driver has stopped working normally.

I've tried changing drivers but to no avail ;-(.

Anyone heard anything like this before?

Only thing I can recommend is Kit Server at the moment, it lets you alter settings previously disabled by Konami:

Yes! open the pes config program and turn Frame Limit to on, basically tick the box and save.

if you have a good pc with a good graphics card, then if you open the nvidia control panel for nvidia geforces or catalyst control center for ATI cards. you can create a PES game profile and switch on / increase the antialiasing and antiastropic filters. as such the game will look far smoother! but only do it on a good pc!

I added the option files and for some reason all of the goal celebrations were lost and every other game the game would crash just as I score a goal in masterleague mode. Any ideas why?

i have a NVIDIA GeForce 8400M graphics card on my Sony Viao laptop, brand new.. how do i go about doing this on my laptop? on device manager?

I'm almost certain that something has gone wrong in the patching process, I recommend you to redo the whole process.
Re-download the patched files, and use fresh .img files from your DVD/ISO.

Not sure if your graphic card software have these options but it should be something like:

NVIDIA Control Panels > 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings, and you should be able to know what to do next.

Again, since I'm not an expert on these sort of stuff like stuntmaster, I'm not 100% sure if your GC Software has these capabilities.

1st, super patch mate, bloody good job, it's like playing a new game!

i've only got 2 issues:
a) major one with all the patches i've tried, the jersey for say arsenal, or any team really, all look great on the front, but the back, where the player's name and number appear, are INCONSISTENT, i.e. sometimes it's there, most of the time it's not, sometimese it's just the name, sometimes it's just the number, sometimes, BLANK, nothing at all, lol - is this a bug in the game or what? any fix would be greatly appreciated!

b) what is your patch's in-match time (match clock) supposed to look like? coz it looks pretty plain, just the digits and a couple weird horizontal lines on the left of it, like a half-done job, is that a patching error on my part?

Finally, any chance you could create a custom league in the next patch where we could put all the top teams in it?

Hi mate,

a) wow, havent heard or seen of this problem before. But just to make sure, do you use fresh .img files to install every patch you download? Because the .img files may be corrupted...you can also try reinstalling as there may be some errors during installation.

b) I have not included any scoreboards for this patch, so the errors may have been from previously installed (if you did install any) patches as scoreboard patches replaces .bin files that are not covered in this championship patch.
Again, I would recommend using fresh .img files and repatch..

c) Nope, sorry...I wouldn't have the time to create something like that, and my intentions for this patch is only for making the most out of Master League with the Premiership and Championship.

HELLO MATE WHEN I WENT TO CHANGE THE CLASSIC TEAM KITS I WENT TO .BIN SLOTS YOU GAVE ME AND THEY WERE UNKNOWN_FACE_7230.BIN FOR THE CLASSIC ENGLAND AND I CARNT FIND THE OTHER SLOTS WITH LETTERS IN FOR EXAMPLE CLASSIC HOLLAND 7A30 7AB0 7B30 7BB0 IM USING GGS7.4.0 ANY IDEAS WHAT IM DOING WRONG CHEERS MATE MUCH APPRECIATED

did the re-install, still the same problem!!! what's going on? like i use arsenal, fabregas has just his name written at back of shirt, likewise adebayor, but hleb, gilberto etc have full name and number on back, other players just have the number! it's givin me the shits lol

ok

make sure you ahve the latest forceware installed from nvidias site or latests custom DNA drivers.

then do the following:

start > programs > nvidia > nvidia control panel > nvidia control panel

then at the top chnage the view from standard to advanced

then on the left look for manage 3D settings and click on it.

now a screen on the right laods up with two tabs - global and program settings.

click on program settings.

and press ADD.

open file will appear - so look for the PES2008.exe, which is located insode the pes folder somewhere in C:\programfiles.

once found click on ti and click open

now you'll eb abck at the program settings tab.

scroll down that list till you find the pes you just add.

click on it.

below that in the other list named settings go through them looking for things like Antialiasing, Antiastropic Filtering, Trilinear buffering etc etc. and increase those from their deafults.

then click apply on the bottom right of the control panel and then close the control panel properly.

run pes

if pes plays slower then go back and lower the settings a little and try again until pes plays smooth with your new settings.

no more jagged edges.

three things:

1 - option file not copied to the right folder
2 - when patching make sure you clicked on select all when it asked what to patch, more than 10 times.
3 - same peroblem i found out, you installed pes as a different user, and its locked the folder containing the option file.

can't be 1, as it's my docs, konami, pes2008 etc...

tried 2, pressed it 20times...

3? what u mean diff user in windows? i only have 1 user, so can't be this...

i'm still having the damn problem, so irritating, it varies match to match... some matches some players have full kit on their backs! but others, no!!!
