Does anybody have a link to a guide for editing the national and premiership kits? I checked on pesfan but couldn't find any guide. I might be starting an OF for the 360 version since it seems that it won't be possible to convert the European file.

OK guys, have some news for you, Compulsion has contacted me, he's working on a version of his editor compatible with american OF, it'll take longer to release this time cause there's a problem with american OF: US PES2008 has less players than euro PES2008, that's why the conversion with PS2 save builder software didnt work, Great job Konami!! last year you messed up preset faces and hairstyles, and this year you gave USA a smaller game!! cant believe this thing is happening. Huge thanks to Compulsion for his efforts on fixing this.

Yay, I had just began to loose hope. I had just started working on both an Xbox 360 and ps2 option file. But this is good news.

so, at what point will people realize if they still have a gig and a half of space UNUSED for a freaking game, they do NOT need to REMOVE things. Good lord, that game should have about 50 more international teams and 25 more club teams, not in a mad quest to remove things. Why do i love to hate seabass?

Only works with the US version, so no Euro<>US conversion.


In Euro PES teams A-R have 23 players each , in US PES they only have 18. Five ML young players have also gone AWOL, so that's 95 fewer players in total, which makes Euro>US conversion tricky, the editor would have to find 95 players that are OK to delete...It's unlikely I'll find time to make converting editor this season, sorry.

Could somebody post a plain option file for the PS2? I don't have the game yet, but would like to start tinkering around with the editor, since our dear friends at Nokami like to make things as difficult as possible.

maybe it's just me but....iv waited way too long 4 this shitty game, n now that it is finally fuckin out i can not even get a prompt option file...(granted this is not anyone who contributes to this forums fault but)....this is such bullshit....konami has fucked us for the last time....if this shit happens next year then im done with pro evolution....i love the game and option files sooo much and I truly aprpreciate all of the time an effort that goes into them (I probally would not still be playing if not for the option files) But if konami has to wait 5 fuckin months to switch the region codes and EDIT OUT PLAYERS while not making any transfers and/or positive additions to the game then fuck them.... i'd rather jackoff with sand paper spend money to fed those nip bastards

well i started working on an American OF. heres what i done so far and what i need to do.

Finished:

Fixed team names
Fixed League names
Fixed Stadium Names
Fixed Premiership teams (including badges)
Added Bundes Liga teams in "League C" (team names and badges done)

Work In Progress:
Transfers
Premiership Kits
Bundes Liga Kits
Need to fix Player names

Amen brother. Couldn't have said it better. I actually picked up and played FIFA 2008 which is the first FIFA game I've played in over 5 years since I discovered the winning eleven series. And let's just say I was pleasantly surprised by the FIFA game and how deep it is with authentic teams, players, licenses, leagues, roster updates, etc etc.

Yet konami can't even update a game that's released in March with January transfer roster updates. For Christ's sake, the game doesn't even have August transfers and is plagued with slow down issues. I can't use my favorite camera angle (broadcast 1) because the slow down makes me dizzy. It's as if they release the game in Japan and Europe and just put it on a shelf then 5 or 6 months later, they bring it down from the shelf and then release it to the U.S market without fixng a damn thing.

Maybe everyone who's editing the option files should put together a class act lawsuit and get some money from Konami as they are pretty much fixing a broken game. Konami is on two strikes with me right now, one more strike and I'm off to FIFA for good.
