I have a standard 360 that hasn't been tampered with in anyway, chipped etc. Will this patch work on my machine as is, or is there some pokeryjiggery stuff I need to do first?

I also don't have a memory card, nor any kind of adapter for a pc to read an xbox mem card. What exactly do I need?

In short, I am an absolute 360 novice when it comes to this kind of stuff, can someone please tell me what I need to do.

Thanks

When is this chant pack coming then daymos

Well its still in the works..

Im a gooner and started with them...

all I do it take the chants.. edits some.. ie some songs have to be repeated 3 or 5 times to sound realistic.. (can be done in nero wave editor ..copy, paste then clean up)

then You have to leave a blank space at the end of the chant for about 10 seconds..

reason why is so the next song dosent start straight away.. (real crowds dont jump from song to song instantly)

Also to add realism.. I created loads of blank songs.. (again in nero wave editor.. record something and mute it)

I made some blanks at 10s.. 15s .. 25s.. 30s.. 45s.. 1minute..

So again the reason for the blanks is so the crowds dont always sing...

So the amount of blanks you put in is up to you.. the less songs you want to hear.. the more blanks you put..

Now once done.. I have 45 songs for Arsenal.. 23 random blanks or so..

you have to burn it all on a disk and put it in its own playlist on the xbox 360 HD..

name it the name of the team..

stick it on random... away you go.. adjust the volume accordingly

its actually quite a good effect..

once all teams are done.. you could play the file for the home team lets say..

Now Id say if you have a few basic skills do so for your team and post on here..

I dont think I can manage the whole prem league.. possible the top 4..

The chants pack I used was from here somewhere.. Ill find out the name and credit the dude..

I've seen the following instructions on another forum, I'm sure it will work for this file, but anyone please feel free to correct me:

Make sure you have a default PES 2009 Edit file: In xbox360 dashboard; go to System, select your 360 HDD and copy the Edit File from the HDD to your memory card.

1.- Extract the files to a folder named PES.
2.- Plug in your memory unit into the usb cable.
3.- Run Xport 360 software. Download here http://us.codejunkies.com/support/ar...article_id=272
4.- Double click on Memory Unit 360 and then Partition 2.
5.- Double click on content.
6.- Click on E00002B45A53B92B. (This number might be different in euro version)
7.- Click on 4B4E07F0.
8.- Click on 00000001.
9.- Drag every file on the folder PES to 00000001.
10.- Close Xport 360.
11.- Transfer the files to your xbox 360 HDD in the main menu under memory. If it says to overwrite, accept.

I strongly advise not to use the software included with the kit, download Xport 360 software instead.

You're done. Go and play the game!

Thanks to pategato for the guide!

IMPORTANT!!!! You must make a manual change in the edit mode of PES2009 after you have copied the files across. You can do anything you like (like change the name of Arsenal) - and then save it, this then registers the option file as yours

My Xport 360 came today, can't wait to go home and try the file out (after Arsenal v Tottenham of course)!

Big up the DnB massive!!

Thanks niteshift02 but I don't have a memory card. Only the HDD. Do I have to go and buy one of those now then?

Really want to get this running because its a bit crap without the kits.

Btw your Xport 360 link doesnt work

The Datel transfer kit requires a mem card I beleive. If you can return it back, I'd recommend going for the Xport 360 kit instead, this is a docking station which you plug the HDD into. Otherwise, yes, you'll have to get a memory card.

Sorry about the link, I just copied and pasted the text straight from another forum. If you go to the Codejunkies website, it should be available there, otherwise try the Datel site.

Try this:

Cheers mate it may well just be easier to buy a memory card as i don't think some companies on eBay allow you to return unless it's faulty or not as stated in the description.

Just follow the instructions you posted up before then when I get a memory card?

Hope to get this working because it does sound great.

Yeah, just follow the instructions and you should be ready for some proper Pro Evo action, no more crappy kits!

But remember, these intructions are copied from somewhere else (pesfan forum).

I did this last night with my bro and I'm trying to remember exactly what we did.

You should already have an Edit/Option file you use when you play PES. To make sure you do, go into Edit mode and change a few things like player's stats or boots or something, then save the changes you made to the HDD.

You should now have an Edit file, which you can copy using the 360 dashboard, from the HDD to the memory device. Look for PES data on your drive, I remember there were 2 files for PES, one should be Edit Data. You should copy this to your memory card.

You should then see something in partiton 2. I'm pretty sure there is no partiton 3 on a memory card, only on a HDD.

I'm still at work now, but I'll check here again in a few hours, let me know if you still have problems. You should see at least one folder in partiton 2 for PES.
