play all the matches. the more matches you play, the more match exp points you can get.

Also, focus on your abilities (are you a movement based CF or a target man). If you are a target man, always pass to the corners and wait in the middle for a cross. If not, collect the ball a-la-rooney.

Also, I never sprint with the ball during the first season. I would only sprint off the ball into space. Walking gives you better control and more protection, and it is much easier to line up your shot and score.

Does anyone have any ideas to keep your stamina up, apart from the obvious "dont sprint"? Im playing CM and Ive got 90 stamina now, but I still find it hard to play a full match - even when Im hardly using sprint at all. As CM Im obviously running a lot back and forth, but Id expect to be able to use sprint at least once in a while - and obviously, its kinda hard to get a good score when you can only run around at grandpa speed.

So anyway, give me your ideas. :) Are any other stats affecting your ability to run longer?

Regarding stamina and sprinting. I have always sprinted while playing pes, just the way i play t leagueit. Lay off the sprint very rarely. In BAL I am a CMF, just starting my fifth season with saint etienne having won both league A and D (left the leagues as they were), and have my stamina is up to 92. First few training matches my player was knackered but he adjusted, just worked on stamina first half of my first season then he seemed grand. Doesn't get tired too fast, rarely subbed bar those random 89th minute ones the CPU is fond of.

Damn you konami, BAL is ridiculously addictive. Winning those trophies is so much fun.

I got a question.... my BAL is now 23, and for the past season he's only been getting 6 points per stat each game instead of the regular 12...

does this mean my guy is getting old? how can I get him back to earning 12 points per stat?

can anyone help?

forza, i'm a movement based CF.. the small fast kind.. so staying in the middle for the cross always yields nothing.
hmm.. yeah... i shoud collect the ball. but i'm starting to play like an AMC.
you know.. collecting the ball, passing it off. making play..
the only difference between me and an AMC is the runs into space behind the last defender.. which doesnt work because the AI seldom passes the thru ball.
And i always only get 6.0 for collecting and short passes..
i seldom get a chance to shoot. say.... 1 or 2 times a match.. which is incredibily frustrating...
should i scale down my difficulty level from top player to professional?

Will I ever start and finish a hole game or will I get subbed off every game? I'm always getting taken off. Even If I score two goals. I might not even start the next game.

yeah. call for the ball as i run into space. Just like i do when i'm on the field in reality.
oh well... i'm trying not to let ratings get to me..

in BAL, i'm now playing for FC graaschap in holland.
in the starting line up...
the only thing that gets under my skin is the lack of goals.
the team formation is a 4-3-3 with the 3 strikers clumped up in the middle.
even in real life.. i hate 4-3-3. I'd much rather the traditional 4-4-2.
TOO crowded... i think i will move to a club which plays 4-4-2 in the next season.

oh i've been reading ard.. i realised that no one else has posted this question.
what is the the differences in difficult level between top player and other easier difficulties?
Apart from worse AI in your team. How abt for the opposition? easier to dribble past? or easier to get away from your marker? Any comparisons?

Hi there every one...
I am a newbie here and I have a question...
My player is CF. And until now I learned only the special ability (scoring)...
How to learn the other special abilities such as one-on-one scoring...

By the way, if you are CF, score at least 2 goals to get 7.5 or 8.0 ratings or score at least 2 goals and assist for at least one goal to guarantee 8.0 ratings...
This how I made my way to become the European Player of the season in my third year...

Here you go.
I must add that from many anecdotes around the forum, the special abilities start to be "ticked" once the required abilites are at 75 or above.

Any tips for playing SMF in BAL?

I'm in my 4th season, where I just signed for Spurs, but all of a sudden they're playing like a below par pub side! This is a major contrast to their 5th spot finish last season, in which they scored 70+ goals. I got into the first team after 5 training matches. And I've since got 2 MOM awards, and 1 MIP, in 7 games. I've played okay like, averaging 6.5 - 7.0 most of the time. But results have been dire, and team performances poor.

Perhaps it's more so my over-use of sqaure (for pressure) and my lack of using R2 (for shape), rather than my positional play, 'cause I stay in space, I put in crosses, and I even track back and mark up when we lose possession. And I become an extra target in the box when the ball is coming from the opposite side.

How often should pressure be applied? And should it always be coupled with R2? Can holding shape alone be enough?

I've also been wondering if one method of crossing is better than the others at all?

Hey guys, how do you get to play multiple positions?

I have a AMF, who played a season at Villa and learned to play CMF, but I sent him to Everton and Milan where he played AMF exclusively.

I recently transferred to Arsenal and they don't have AMF available, so in the first couple games they brought me off the bench and played me at SS. It was great, but after that they began starting me and I've been playing CMF. I really want to develop SS as an alternate position, how can I do this?

Hey, OUDI!!! play all matches, don't skip any! It will help you to get used to your BADSKILLED :) player.

Also, one tip:
I am CF for my 2cnd season and I noticed that i get much better rating when i am in possetion of the ball for a long time.

Try to gaine 200-300 dribling distance and i am sure you will get at least 6.5 poits. Add to this 3 shots on target, 7-10 passes and you will have 7.0 and if you score 7.5

Look for teams with shitty SS players and keep an eye out for offers by them and make sure they are offering you the SS position in the inquiry.
