seriously wtf, of course PESFan is gonna sound good, if anything that would be the biased one. ever think that PES just isnt a good game this year thus the score? I wouldnt know i havent played the game but alot of the reviews/previews have said this and suddenly there all biased but ones from a PES site arent?

Yea i guess your right but I think most people who played the winning eleven demo think that pes is more fun on the pitch than fifa, surely that would give it a better score because ultimately on the pitch is where it matters... I love pes this year cant wait for it!

do the tweaks to the final build make this immensely different from the PES demo?

dont think i am going to be listening to the official reviews, will make my mind up by the general consensus on here. theres enough people split down the middle on here at the minute for me to make a fair decisions based on the groups reviews!

Pesfan review sounds good, other 2 seem a little biased, ive played fifa 10, has ea paid these sites to give pes a lower score??? most likely! I bet they just didnt expect pes 2010 to be that good so they gave fifa a high score but they cant score pes above that cos it will be too high...

Reviews are opinions.
Also the only one where I felt it was biased was the eurogamer review. It was clear. But anyway as I said, reviews are all opinions, but that review was unfair to say the least.

hm its a tricky one, do you class animations and general clunkiness in the gfx score?

to me pes looks 'nice' and the faces look... 'okay' but they do look completely washed out. like they died, came back as zombies and ended up being cast a part in PES10?

Think they do make mistakes, to be honest if you have played the winning eleven demo its going to be similar to that. If not then yea keepers are better and the final build is a lot better.

HAHA yea they could do with more colour in their faces! Yea maybe, the fifa animations are better, but players dont look very real i dont think

yes i have WE10 demo with keepers who 'cant catch a headed ball to save their lives' problem

players who run with the ball, make a pass and stop dead on the spot.. as though their part in the game is now over. they carried the ball, made the pass, took out the picnic basket and camped out for the evening.

nobody else notice how the ai is reluctant to continue running AFTER you make a pass? (you shouldnt have to make a 1-2 play to keep them running to support an attack)...or how players never run on and into the ball if it breaks free right in front of them?

apart from the keepers, and passing, it is this lack of momentum and fluidity that make me feel like the series has not progressed since PS2... its like unless i control every aspect of my team they are inept. and given that you can only directly control 1 player at a time, this is a little suspect, and massively detracts from the notion of 'real football' to me.

Its hard to say what its like until we play ourselfs. One thing i noticed from a review video was that through balls are improved from the WE demo which did my head in! Yea i noticed they stopped after a pass, you gota wait about 2 seconds for them to move...

overall so fay i think the reviews have been a little disappointing. I know they are just peoples opinions but all the same they represent a magazine or website and therfore should be putting some thought into the review. And i dont buy the 'fifa paying people to put crap pes2010 reviews out there' thats just nonsense.

you obviously havent read my recent posts - I am a lot more open now to a fair debate on this but independent reviews are there to advise on the best product when there is multiple choice.

I have a lot of respect for Eurogamer and while I aknowledge its not the best written review I believe they are unbiased. They score PES 7/10 and FIFA 9/10

After yesterdays positive comments on the game then they give it 7? If they gave fifa 9 i would give the winning eleven demo 8 at least just because its better football gameplay. Then give pes 9, but what do i know i havent played it yet. FIFA has blinded people because their game was good last year and i admit it was. But i dont think 10 is that good.

i agree that fifa 10 is not a big jump mate but they can't have blinded nearly all of the gaming press.

As i said i dont care much for reviews,in all my years pes has always had a hard time with reviews and this year is no different.If the online side has been sorted then i'll be a happy chappy
