Last week (or maybe the week before) at some stage, when I loaded up PES2010 on my Xbox, it stated there was an update waiting for the game, it downloaded and updated something, but I don't know what.

Anyone else get that? Or know what the hell it was?

Seriously hope they release this tomorrow, and fix the ref's, the AI tackling (your own team), the stupid defensive blunders every match, and the strips (Liverpool's away CL strip is still black in ML).

WEBlog has just stated that the updated contains (officially now):
* The New Japan National Team kit (HOME) which debuted on 09/11/2009 (header pic)
* Updated Squad data (Please note that they may not be 100% accurate).
* Additional Teams in the UEFA Champions League Mode.
- OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS
- AC FIORENTINA
- OLYMPIACOS
- C. ATLETICO MADRID
* Changes to the appearances of certain players.

Also, there’s some more information on how the roster update will effect option files:

Please be noticed that some saved data/ customized edit data will be reset back to default value after the download content installation.
・Player Data = Remain no change
・Team Data = Remain no change
・Player Registration Data = Change back to default value
・Formation Data = Change back to default value

Meh..nothing interesting really

If it was update 1.01 i think it was just an update for playing online.

konami will fix embarassing bugs and not report them fixed!

Hopefully this update solves the slowdown on game on Windows 7

i know it easy fixing data than bugs but why are they taking so long fixing the so called "data files" which probably takes a few hours for someone to do.

also i dont know why them pesky japs get the update 1st, do they not know that europe is no1 for football.

I'm sure they focus on the No. 1 for gamers by area though... even Japanese granny's would probably give you a run for your money in WE / PES

I really hope they do something about the delay in turning, in PES09 I used to love the quick sharp turns, oh and another thing is the delay when you are running towards the goal line and need to quickly cross in the centre, when you press the button the player doesn't respond and by the time you know it, the ball is out of play for a goal kick :(

No offense but I think there's nothing wrong and nothing to fix about slow turning. That's how they created the game. If you want to have quick turns in a game, yes you should go back and play arcade 2009:)
I'd recommend give game some time. Get used to the game play. Trust me if you do that you'll love it more than 2009. For me 2008-2009 were the same crap arcade game:(

totally agree its part of the game but why does it take so long to update the squads also the game still hasnt been released on the playstation store for psp go users get the finger out konami

exactly they have taken out these stupid zig zag turns that were so effective and players keep trying the same crappy moves they used in pes 2009 and wonder why they don't work in pes 2010.
