FM will stress the CPU and RAM, causing them to take more wattage. I can only suggest its a power supply issue.

Cheers for the info

do you know what my best bet would be? should I run less leagues and on a smaller database or something?

I'm currently 15 leagues on a large database

Was doing terrible with AC Milan so decided to start again but with Manchester United.

Ive made a few signings..

Akinfeev £24.5m - Expensive but definately paid off so far, kept me level/ahead in soo many games..The board really love him as a signing. I did try for Asenjo but they wanted £30m+ mil of him :/.

Breno £14m + 2m over 18 months. - Great prospect. Only 19 and did well to stand in for vidic when he was injured at the begining of the season.

Muniesa £1.2m - Hot prospect aswell. 17 year old CB.

Neymar £13m + 5m Arrives next summer. Suppose to be a great prospect.

Was looking into getting a LM/LW but giggs is in top form, Nani can be good but is too inconsistant. The real surprise for me is tosic..his dead ball play is great. Scored 3 freekicks and about 4 goals from freekicks just from his delivery. Valencia is doing well, managing to keep Park out of the team.

Hargreaves has just returned, gives me that extra defensive option and still managed to get a goal against sunderland in his first match returning from injury. Anderson is doing good too, 2 goals in 5 games aint too bad lol.

Berbatov is doing my nut in though..Ive played him nearly every single game and he is a bugger! He wont score, get assists and misses easy chances and i think..im gonna bench him and sell him then i give him one more chance the next match and he gets on the score sheet with a good performance!

Getting annoyed with my team concede late goals that cost me points. Given away a loss to chelsea because of a late minute goal and a penalty cost me a win away to Inter in the Champions league.

Got a good team of youngsters coming through though!

Akinfeev
Rafael Breno/Muniesa Evans Fabio
Obertan Gibson Anderson Tosic
Neymar/Muniain/Diouf Welbeck/Macheda

i think akinfeev is the oldest at 23.

Hopefully that becomes quite the dangerous attacking force.

EDIT: 4.10 pm

Reached January 1st 2010 now so the transfer window has re-opened. Signed 19 year old Camacho from Athletico Madrid for £5mil as against tough attacking opponents i like to play 2 DM. He will hopefully be able to hold down hargreaves' position when he needs to be rested.

It being January 1st means adem ljajic and bame miram diouf finish their loans will be joining up with the squad however i might send them both back out on loan.

My tactic of having two DM seems to work.. still letting in a few too many goals though. Just won manager of the month for December. Im really pleased how ever i did draw against two of the easier teams which i think were fulham (1-1) and wigan (1-1).

Other results in December include

2-1 win against portsmouth
3-1 win against wolves
5-1 win against burnley
6-2! win against Arsenal (using the two DM's and replacing Berba with Anderson who moves in at CAM with Rooney as lone striker but usually Giggs/Tosic/Nani/Valencia/Obertan Chip in with a few goals.)
Last result was a 5-0 victory against blackburn..It was nice to thrash blackburn at home because in the away fixture i needed a last minute goal to win 2-1.

Im pretty pleased with how ive got the team performing however we're still conceding too many goals for my liking! Especially on the counter or giving away freekicks/penalties.

I am finding it hard to get used to the new tactics and layout - I expect I'll get used to it. I think I might start as Man City, to give myself an easy introduction to the game...

I'm so pissed off. I was in my 5th season as Stoke, finished 14th, 8th, 6th, 9th and I was half way through the season, in 4th position, I went to load it up, and now it's telling me the file can't be loaded. Talk about fucking irate.

EDIT - Fucking great, I went to load up my old Liverpool game where I've nearly finished the second season.....guess what, it can't be loaded. Eugh!

I found it hard to get used to, so I went for the easiest club, and chose Man City. Signed Maxi Rodriguez, Srna, got Nesmachnyi and Asamoah as backups, and van der Vaart on a loan. Probably gonna move on after a season, as I should be more used to the game by then. I actually have £50m of budget left, and I have no idea how to spend it...

Perhaps it would be interesting for you to spend some money on planning towards the future, get your scouts out looking for young talents, and pile them into your Reserves or maybe loan them out to a feeder club or something.

I suppose it's only worth doing this if you're looking to do a long-term game though...

My Triestina side are currently third after 14 games (we just drew 1-1 at home to 19th place Padova :faceplm:). It simply isn't going to last because Denis Godeas isn't Ronaldo and he'd need to be.

I'm also starting to see why my staff were so keen on recommending right wingers to me - the ones I've got are not good. I'm also going to lose my second best defender, Alain Nef, at the end of the season because he's on loan from Udinese. I also doubt my best defender (Medhi Benatia) will stay too far beyond this season because he's only 22 and I'm sure any club promoted to Serie A or coming down from there will move for him.

Serie A is a bit crazy - I'm top with Milan just ahead of Inter who are on a good run whilst Sampdoria are 18th...perhaps 19th after losing 3-1 at Inter this morning. In the CL, Inter have matched our five wins in five but where the defensive records are generally shocking across all groups (Juve top theirs with one win and four draws, scoring 10 and conceding 9 with United just behind them in the group), I haven't conceded a single goal in Europe and have scored 13. My last match is my toughest from a pretty shite group - away to Standard.

Daniele Bonera's three assists in three games from right-back have propelled him to first-choice, forcing Zambrotta who has an average rating of over 7.50 to left-back at the expense of both Cristian Ansaldi and Luca Antonini. Marek Jankulovski and Massimo Oddo (the latter with an average rating of 7.50 in two games) are rotting in the stands with Favalli but nobody wants to sign any of them.

I had some amazing games last night. I was 4 points off Chelsea and 1 off Man Yoo with a game in hand and I played both at Anfield. First up was Chelsea, I went two down after about 17 minutes and so I brought RvN on for Yossi after roughly 20 minutes and went to all-out attack. Just before half-time Mascherano gets sents off. So now I was 1 man and two goals down. I told the team "We must get a result here. No excuses!" which fired them up a treat as I got drew level with about 20 minutes to go. Not much happened until the 84th minute when Aqua Man picked out Torres with a 40 yard ball which he then proceeded to smash into the bottom corner. I jumped for joy. The title-race was back on.

A couple of weeks later it was Man UTD's turn to go two up at half-time and end up losing 3-2, this time with Ruuuuuud getting the winner in the 87th minute. I used the same team-talk and switched to the same tactics and as if by magic, the team responded, sweeping them away like nobodies business. Unfortunately 5 consecutive draws followed, 4 of them ending 0-0. The other was another 10 men, 2 down thriller with Everton. I blame the injury to Torres. He's often the difference between a win and a draw. So I'd blown my chances of the title, but the CL was still up for grabs.

It was Liverpool vs Milan at Anfield. Torres gave me an early lead, only for them to equalize through Oneywu with 10 minutes to spare. It ended 1-1, but I was certain I would score a goal or two at the San Siro. As long as I had Torres fit that is. Well he was fit, and there was plenty of goals, unfortunately for me, it was Milan who was scoring them. They were 2-0 at half-time, but I still had my flawless team-talk and switch to an attacking 4-4-2 to hit them with. A minute after the restart, Pato chips Reina from 25 yards. I raged and went to even more attacking, direct formation. It worked, it was soon 3-2 thanks to the magnificent Spanish bastard yet again and in the final 4 minutes he stuck again completing his hat-trick and completing another awesome turn around.

Juve awaited in the final, but not before I played Stoke at Anfield. With both eyes on the final I rested the lot, playing mostly kids and misfits and I was raped hard and lost 6-1. I put out a bad side, but it wasn't THAT bad. I almost reloaded in embarrassment, but decided against it. The CL final was another glorious affair with yet another flawless display by a certain Spanish God. He scored another hat-trick, with the third winning the game in the 85th minute. It ended 3-2 and it saved my season, having been knocked out the cups fairly early and throwing away the title, it was a much needed win.

I'm in pre-season and my main signings include Gourcuff for 16 million and N'Gog and Michael Johnson for 1.2 who will provide great cover across midfield. I had a 16 million offer for Ribery accepted, but he wanted 140k a week the daft mentalist. I've turned my attentions to Robinho or Silva for the left, but I doubt I'll get either for under 20 million, though Riera had a great end to the season and Van Der Vaart is on the market yet again. Kuyt and Donavon are off for a combined fee of around 14 million. I want to keep everyone else, bar maybe Yossi, who I'd sell for 4 million or so, though Agger and Reina are seeking new challenges, the latter of which is irreplaceable. Though I wouldn't reject 40 million for either. I could really do with a new defender to replace Carragher as a matter of factly, so I'll see what happens.

Just reached February and im top of the EPL by a 2 points. Its a very close title race between us, Man City, Chelsea and liverpool about 8 points between 1st and 4th!

Not doing too well recently, lost 2-0 to arsenal away which i was dissapointed with but has led me to have a change round in tactics. Next was Man City (who were 2nd, 2 points behind me) away. Started the game very defensively playing 4-5-1 with rooney as lone striker...20 mins in and im 2-0 down. Half time i took carrick off because he was playing crap had a rating of 4.7 or something. I replaced carrick with Anderson and sat him in attacking midfield behind rooney. Luckily i managed to get 2 goals back, one of which was a lucky anderson shot that took a deflection and went in during stoppage time.

Rooney is on fire atm 41 goals during the season and its only february. He is third choice penalty taker so doesnt get many chances from the spot.

Started again with AC Milan.

Here's the signings i've made. Need to sell some players. Im thinking Kaladze and Dida and maybe a few more, possinbly boriello as he hasnt had a game. I need to bring in a young decent keeper aswell.

Van der Vaart and Dzeko have been a good bit of business so far. Ronaldinho and pato are on fire aswell, the latter getting a hattrick in in the first 30 mins of a game against some random side.

Moutinho has got 3 goals in 5 games and i didnt buy him for scoring goals. Defence will be alright for a season but i might sell onuhou and bring in a strong young centre back.

Currently 6 games in Scored 23 conceded 2. Not a bad record lol however i got juve next, its only preseason but i want to keep the run going.

With the latest win being 7-0 i cant see scoring to be a problem.. just conceding goals.

Pretty obvious that ihitbaboons is an editor whore.

I just downloaded a Face pack and badge pack and stuck them on. Makes the game look 10x better.

Drew with Juve 1-1. Pleased though as i was losing from an early goal and Dzeko scored a late header for the draw.

You've got too much money - you don't get £20m to spend.

I had £10m until an injection of £25m after the window closed which frankly I wasn't expecting at all.

I started impressively results-wise but its settled down and after 14 games I've got a 10-3-1 record yet am only one point clear of Inter AND Juventus with a big gap between us and the rest already.

In the CL as I'm sure I mentioned earlier I conceded only once and that in my final group game. Had an easy group but I think I drew that final game against Anderlecht to wreck my 100% record. The group containing Juventus and Manchester United was frankly absurd - they both scored and conceded more than 10 goals as did the other two teams.

Yeh i have spent alot of money.

The £15m i got from went straight towards Dzeko and £7m worth of add on clauses ontop.

I also paid £5m for Moutinho with £5m add on clauses.

The rest is budget adjusting and cash left over.

Plus ive got one or two players transfer listed.

After my Lyon game crashed (thank you) I started over with AC Milan. Pato and Huntelaar scored like crazy (though Sampdoria's Pazzini is unstoppable in my game, and took the scorer's trophy - he's running away with it this season too). The first season I bought (in dollars):

Verratti for 3,2m total
Angel Di Maria for 4,3m (leading the league in assists)
Kryvtsov for 4,7m

Sold:
Flamini for 8,5m
Borriello for 12m

2nd season I had about 120m to spend  I released a few players, as I couldn't get rid of them for money:

Inzaghi (Lazio)
Dida (picked up by Juventus)
Storari (Atalanta)
Favalli (Gallipoli)

Also tried to re-negotiate Ronaldinho's contract, he's making 300,000 a week and he wants 300,000 a week for the next 3 years :faceplm: I bought Akinfeev and Gourcuff, and sold P.E. Aubameyang and Ambrosini. Defense seems shabby at times.
