I bet you a fiver you buy back MW2 within the next 6 months.

Or you could actually probably complete this in a couple of days, then take it back to HMV and get your copy of MW2 back. Foolproof.

I've got it. They have certainly improved much from the first Assassin's Creed. The missions are more story progressive. The parkour has also been improved making climbing much faster. You can now purchase things like weapons, armour (also repairing armour), health etc. Even things like paintings which only go towards your villa's reputation/population. Once you get the villa you will find that you will be raking in a lot of money with little options for purchase. You also get side missions/quests like "the truth" (also an insight into the story so I won't say more), beat up missions, assassin tombs, courier, races and assassination missions. Some I would recommend doing and others I think are there just to earn money. Doing some of these I managed to rack up over 24 hours but doing them all would rack up a lot more (although I don't see the point doing everything in the game).

I still think there are some stuff they could have improved on with what they have added, but it is certainly much better. Those who couldn't get passed Assassin's Creed's repetitiveness might enjoy Assassin's Creed II. I'm unsure with fans of the first but I have talk to some people who feel that the plot kind of takes a backward step with its presentation which to an extend I can agree with.

Overall, I really enjoyed this game. I think it is better than the first. It is definitely worth a go. Maybe even a rent. Probably wouldn't have time to do a lot of the things if it was just a rent unless you had nothing to do but sit on your ass and play but you could easily play through the story.

You lads have already finished it? The game isn't very long then? Or is it the sort of game you can go back to, like you can on say Fallout 3?

I've not finished it and I don't know how far I have left to go. I've just completed the bit where you have to fly.

Well when I completed Assassin's Creed I had racked up over 24 hours on my first playthrough. Modern Warfare 2 can be completed in 4 hours - now that's quick.

You can definitely do it quicker than me since I did do a few side quests. If you were to play through the story only then I reckon you will still rack up over 10 hours. In todays gaming industry (and for a game that isn't an RPG) I think it is a pretty good length.

Ah right, cool, thanks man. When I get this, I'll definitely try & make it last and do as many side-quests as I can. As there's no offline play, I'll do this so it lasts me a while, and play one or two chapters at a time.

I rushed through it a bit mainly because the story made me want to keep playing it, you can't replay story missions though so you have to start the game over again to do story missions again.

It has probably been covered but I can't see it anywhere:

Do enemies attack in unison or do they stand back and attack one at a time?

One at a time 99% of the time. I've experienced a couple of occasions where it seems that two have gone for me, but one ends up stabbing the other.

I've completed the story, which I thought was great, but the game is easy. The only thing I'm having problems with is a few of the Truth puzzles. I don't want to Google the answers, but I might search for the meaning and story behind each paintings and photos.

Still like the Assassin's Creed when it is one at a time. Counter's aren't completely as effective this time as they can block them as well as being completely ineffective against larger enemies.

Started this 2 days ago, and I like it so far. Completed the first 3 DNA sequences, up to point where I've got hidden blade, throwing knives, blade, etc.

The missions have been pretty easy so far, and it's quite easy to kill people. I like exploring the city, and going around on the rooftops looking around, generally causing a nuisance. One thing I find disappointing & surprising is that you can only speak to people who want you to do a mission for them. No way of speaking to the general civilians. :\

Good game so far, hopefully it gets a bit more challenging as the DNA sequences go on and on...

I haven't declined a single mission yet, nor am I going to. Gonna try my best to do as much of the game as I can, and make it last me a long time before I complete it.
