For instance: choosing the all rounder with a CF, than relogate the points to shooting and dribbling, plus 2 in power nets you with a CF around 75.
Choosing the dribbler with the WF and relogate the points to speed and dribbling, plus 2 in stamina, nets you with a WF around 70.
My WF has 8 in condition, but only 64 balance which makes him a bit weak. I just try to not avoid battles for the bal, my 94 dribbling helps with that

I'll take that into serious consideration and will have another fiddle with allocating the focus points right after selecting the role and type of player. I think I might have been too conservative by not allocating a sufficient amount of points to other attributes.

I played a whole season with my Overall 79(now 83) All-rounder CF. Scoring goals is a bit difficult though.

I see where you're coming from, but from the option (I haven't been able to use it myself yet) "My Desired Clubs" it seems you'll be able to do just what you've wanted to all along.

Yeah and this year your Agility can improve as well. Has anyone noticed form going up? Reading the help section in the agent's menu says that they affect your form. I'm hoping so because when I created my player the second time I didn't pay attention to form and now I'm not happy with it. It's only at 4. :(

I agree with the last three but "Play as an existing player" is funtastic.

I'm currently using Thomas Muller in Bayern Munich and BAL is actually a lot more fun, for some reason.

I always liked the mode, but I never really got that "hooked" feeling this year (like you could do the last two years). But I tried playing with an existing player and it is really fun.

Do you start with his current stats or as a 17 year old existing player?

Has anyone else been frustrated by managers bringing in completely crap players into the team? Like 28 yr olds with averages in the 50s or 60s? They were infiltrating my tottenham team so i moved to Ajax only to find their team with a good number of them too :(

Once the manager played a GK as a SB :(

It hasn't happened in my club, but I checked out Barcelona's transfers and they took in like 4 players in the 50-60s. Crazy!

After messing around with different players and positions I've finally created one thats work for me.

Name: Roberto (French)
Age:17 (AMF)
Club: Getafe
goals: 7
assist: 23

nearing the end of my first season for getafe. Got booked for diving in the spanish cup final against Real madrid, my second yellow card, can't believe it. I didn't even know you could dive in Pes. Lost the match 2-3.

So does this mean you could create a player in edit mode with great stats (like 99 for everything) make him 17 and put him at the club you want to play for?, then start the game with this "created" player?

Yes as you cant register created players at a club (correct me if I'm wrong) what you can do is edit an existing player then start the game with whatever statsv you like. Remember to go back into edit mode once you have saved BAL and return the player to his default settings.

I tested it and started at tottenham on £7m + pounds salary and was called up into england sqaud at start of season.

It is cheating to do this but hey its loads of fun. ha

Your edited player ages from whatever age you set him up with in edit mode so you can still play out full BAL seasons.

Also found that if you fast forward and skip to many games you will only be offered one year contracts. I skipped an entire season and this was all I got offered.

I will now create a fairly good player with only slighty better than the starting stats so that it doesnt get to easy to early but wow I feel spoilt not having to toil through 3 yrs of being knocked off the ball at every touch.

Yes, it would work.

It's one way to start at your favorite club.

You make a player that is at the same level of skill as any new BAL player (around 60-70 overall skill, atleast one specialty area) and put him in your favorite team from the start, and then start the game as him.

You could also make a player with 99 in everything, put him in Barcelona and go on to win every freaking title in the game, if you'd want to :)

Sounds awesome, but i just want to create a decent player to start with e.g. 80 for everything as the stats take so long to improve. Can you tell me how you earnt so many GP points already to unlock the BAL features from the shop? I have won world cup and copa liberartordes and have only 360 points.
