Right, so I am downloading the demo today but I went for a search on player faces and stuff like that to see what's new AND I am personally offended by it and I am finding it hard to believe that none of you even mentioned this. The player faces are HORRIBLE for the Serie A. Compare an EPL Team detail (even kits and players) to a Serie A team detail and the difference is jaw dropping.

The Juve player faces are HORRIBLE and I cannot even begin to say that loud enough and yet NO one mentions this fact. The amount of unfairness is disguising really.

Anyway, enough negativity (even though it is shameful for EA), I will give the gameplay a try and see how it goes, so I won't say anything until I played at least 10-20 games, because tat's when the BAD CPU AI from typical Fifa start to emerge. ;) So yeah, we'll see how it goes.

shaun7, I think its because we're used to the faces being fairly shite by now and don't expect it to change.

Just install in tot he Fifa 13 demo folder........Change half length and see if it took effect. If it didn't check the "Skip Intro" option and then it will work.

* Mine still shows 3 minute halves with in game but game length is defiantly 6. *

But what I was referring to was the fact that EPL teams have tons more detail in their kits and player faces compared to Serie A teams and faces. In my view, it's unfair, extremely unfair. Seriously, even in the stats, EA are always biased towards EPL and it's annoying.

Ah yes I certainly agree with you there - just look at the Juventus stats compared to Manchester City, its absurd.

A lot of it is CL-focused too - Juventus having not featured in last season's CL get a bump for their Serie A campagin (and rightly so) but don't get the real attributes they deserve.

Abbiati's rating in the last two versions of FIFA has been too close to Buffon, especially in FIFA 10. At least this year they are, I believe, 87 (Buffon) and 80 (Abbiati) which although not perfect (because I bet Casillas is 91 or something) are certainly, FINALLY, moving in the right direction albeit years too late.

Played a few games last night, and I was generally pleased... Was a nice touch how Mannone was in the net along with other real-life changes, no Cazorla though?

In the same game - I was Arsenal against Man City - went for Legendary difficulty and both goals scored by the computer, were "square balls" onto the head of Dzeko. Absolutely nothing I could've done to prevent it from happening. But managed to pull it back to 2-2 with goals from Mertesacker from a corner and a well-worked move finished off by Gervinho.

Michael Johnson coming on for Samir Nasri late on in the game made me laugh also.

The presentation of the game looks fresh and slick, you expect that every year the new FIFA comes around though.

The Skill Games as you're waiting for the game to start are pretty decent.

Shall be buying this. I'd pre-order it via. the Playstation Store but £50 is steep!

Hmm I was playing this on my laptop on the train home and it seems if you don't play it with internet Van Persie etc are all back at their old clubs. Obviously this will be changed for the final game, but keep it in mind.

Got it working, although it seems to have changed the buttons to look like xbox 360 ones and doesn't seem to have the 'updated' squads.

Yeah........ I didn't realize the squad thing untill about 20 Minutes a go when I played with Arsenal..........But RVP>>>>>>>>>> That useless one who can't score :happy:

The squad thing was bugging me so I uninstalled it but it still seems to be a problem...Might have to re install the demo!

You can do the same on PS3 buy unplugging from the Net.








I think your Problem is the CL.INI in the game folder. Delete it and it should resume to normal, assuming you haven't already.


Longer games is far more Important to me right now then correct teams.
