In PES2015 there were a couple of Data Pack updates which caused all transfers you'd done and some kits/teams to be undone. So be warned.
We shouldnt have to make a game current, can you imagine the uproar if Fifa launched with last seasons squads? Is Konami want to get the sales, they have to release an up to date game

Don't have a problem with squad updates, it's if it deletes any uploaded kits, emblems etc.

It is about time to have two separate edit files, one for squad and official updates, other for user editing. ffs it's not difficult, they just don't want to make everything right at once for some reason.

Hm, ok. Well then I will use my PSN-Account for updates and playing online and create a new one for my editing. As I love playing with my own edited version of "PES", I won't earn any trophies for e.g. the Master League by using my "fake" account. Thanks Konami. I remember one PES-Version in which you could update without harming your edit file.
I got the disc game at midnight, the update fixes issues (on screen it list) no squad update.
Asim said there MAYBE a transfer update on Friday.
Unreal- last years rosters
So I can't start my season or tournaments because the rosters are a year old!?! How is this even possible in this age where downloads and patches are unfortunately the norm?
I'm a Juve fan and literally half the starters have left in real life........but not in PES.
Beyond disappointed.......first impressions are everything. "The pitch is ours" maybe true, but fans like me care about outdated rosters, menus, and bland looking presentation.

How can they release the game without at least having updated the rosters/players?
Coming from Konami/PES it isn't a surprising but very disappointing still. What's worse is that if you take the time to edit, whenever Konami finally feesl like releasing theirs you end up losing all of your edits... ugh.

Ya won't lose emblems or uniforms, but anything like changing names, transfers, faces, etc may be lost.
EDIT: Maybe some of that is wrong but you won't lose emblems and uniforms. They'll be fine.

Yeah sorry for not being specific. You don't lose kits/emblems but everything else is gone according to what i've read but i might be wrong.

I think some stuff does be lost but I can't remember exactly what at present.
EDIT: You can probably export your teams and then import them back after the update to reinstall your changes, but its a giant pain in the ass.
Will we for sure lose team name changes? And competition name changes?
Not this year. They removed the import/export feature.
